    Thanks for the advice.

Feeling totally fed up today, just got back from work (early as its teacher training day and hubby on lates so ships passing to look after youngest) and although I'd had lunch at work came home and can't stop eating. Feeling totally down in the dumps and cba to do anything.

Anyway must drag myself up and get on with something less destructive.

    See you all laters x

Hello all! Back to work today and it wasn't too bad.

Not a lot to report really - will try to stick to better eating and exercise - Shredding later:eek:
Is anyone else fed up with the endless football on the telly? It does my head in - I feel sorry for the older people (like my nan god rest her!) who have no interest, no satellite telly and are faced with next to nothing to watch. Luckily, I have Sky and can find something else but are people really interested in Hungary vs Ukraine or Denmark vs Austria or the like? I can understand the England and Ireland games but not the more obscure ones..... Just having a mini rant!

Anyway, tonight will be a bath, toenails (ignored yesterday:o) and exercise and a smaller portioned tea. Must write a little list of F&V that I need to pick up tomorrow too or I'm in danger of scoffing rubbish.

What things make you feel good? Beside food. Got some fave music you stick on and listen to, if it's classical enjoy the soothing tones, if it's other get up and have a boogie. I frequently forget how music can lift my mood :o

Pretty boring day at work today and then hit the rush hour an hour early with most people heading home for the footie. Then out with Mr Dog for a walk and back for the 2nd half which is just about to end in a few mins time

My dress and top arrived today which I ordered at the weekend in the sale. Size 10 dress is lovely shape and colour but the collar is a bit not me with a bow and peter pan style but its too big! Weird indeed for it to be too big around the middle and chest. There is no way I would have gone for a size 8 in a dress and expect it to fit. It's going back and I'm having a think about the colour of the top - a little big but is a tunic top in a loose style in a pale peach colour. Think I prefer the jewel colours really over the soft pale colours.

Anyway time to sort out some work stuff now ready for tomorrow's super busy day

Hey Bitsy you got me down to a t there, food makes me feel good, well for a nanno second then the guilt sets in. Things that make me feel good are gardening (too wet today) walking (already got soaked going to bank for work this morning) exercise (always surprises how it perks me up), jewellery making, sewing (new hobby so learning that at mo) seeing my hubby (who is on late shift and I will only get to see him this week for about 30 mins each day, which I think is the root today of the fed up feeling, always struggle when he is on late shift). Planning things for the future Ie things to do in summer hols and trying to find different things to do with the children.

Fed up today with the rain, (I know can't do anything about it) fed up with the football, even though hubby not here, have a football mad son who is watching every match, luckily in another room, but when his dad is not here I get a running commentery!!! And no eastenders tonight lol. Oh and back to work today after a week off.

Right off to do todays Shred, really seeing a difference in my body and my fitness levels, managed level 1 on the advanced last night without stopping, that makes me feel good. :D

Weigh in today and another 3lbs lost :j:j:j So that's 6lbs in three weeks, slow but steady. I've been reading the mindful eating comments with interest, this sounds very much like the Paul McKenna CD I have, is that the same thing? And, I'm rather confused about the elephant comment or am I being dim :o

Just shredded, feeling so much better, still surprised every time I do exercise how quickly it picks you up.

Had a smaller portion for tea today to try and compensate by mini pig out this afternoon and am just having some sunflower and pumpkin seeds to pick on.

Yes it's the same as what Paul McKenna teaches but some of the books I've read cover more of the emotional reasons than he does.

The elephant analogy is imagine your problems or issues are an elephant. Can you eat aka deal with it in one go. Of course not because an elephant is too large. But if you chop up poor Nellie into little chunks it's easier to "eat". have I got the understanding right ladies?

Evil :beer:On the job, well done xxx

    Rachel well done :T
