    OK - a little cheating here:rotfl:

    "Xtra"

Doing that little bit more, going the extra mile.

By now you should all be well rehearsed in your 10 minute routines.

To recap - that's a 10 minute beauty treatment and a minimum of 10 minutes exercise each day.

What about adding something extra. It can be anything - more fabbing, more exercise, better still more of both.

How about an extra dimension to your lives - just for you. Something you like or enjoy, a new hobby or pastime, new studies, learn a language, learn a new skill.

    Excitement

We all need a little bit of this, something to look forward to, something to get excited about. A holiday, a day out.

I'm not ready yet but for those who are - how about taking a leaf out of WW's books and try an extreme sport to get the adrenaline going.

(Good luck with the abseiling today WW - I bet it's fab).

I have in the past had a go at flying a plane - it was fantastic. I've been up in a hot air balloon, not been scuba-diving yet;).

My next challenge will be to fly a glider. I will need to get the back sorted first, lose some weight and get nice and flexible so I can in and out of the cab.

    She who dares - wins:rotfl::rotfl:

Posts crossed WW - glad to hear the abseiling went well. Enjoy the TV studios trip tomorrow - sounds fun.

Yes Matlock is about 30 minutes from here - I'm on the south side of Derby, Matlock is to the north.

Matlock Bath is often referred to as "Little Switzerland" and yes it's very picturesque. There is a cable car ride (probably not running today because of the wind) which is wonderful on a nice day. When you get to the top you can visit the big caverns.

For the record they are called "Bakewell Puddings". No tarts round here.:rotfl::rotfl: Bakewell itself is lovely little place, full of deli's, farmers' markets - a real foodie heaven.

Although I like where I live, now that retiring to Spain is not longer on the agenda I have thought about moving to somewhere in the north of the county in a couple of years time. We'll see.

Xpress yourself - Good one there, Thanks for that Rachela.

Yes definitely allow yourself to be different. Express yourself - with your clothes, your accessories, use some colour - don't be dark and drab or boring and bland.

Which reminds me it's my friend's funeral on Tuesday. She has asked for bright colours - bright tops for the ladies and bright ties for the men. I will wear my red suede jacket.

I would like people to wear bright colours for my funeral when I go. OH has requested we wear Burgundy red - his favourite colour and he wants us to the play the theme tune from The Archers...............

Xpress yourself - for me I made the decision this year to wear colour and embrace it and move away from black clothes. So now after all the weight loss, and yes I do look different to this time last year - according to Wallis website my original measurements came out at a size 16 and now at a size 8 or 10 give or take an inch - I have had to buy practically a new wardrobe full of clothes as so many do not fit at all any longer. Plenty of colour in there to xpress myself!

Now then onto an Xtra - what else can be an xtra for me - currently enjoying a minimum of an hour a day walking Mr Dog and usually 2hrs at the weekend, utilising the local parks and nature reserves. Ah yes, the xtra for me then is to fit in a bike ride twice a week alongside 2 runs and the daily dog walks.

Xcitement - I've been thinking this over quite a lot, next year I'm hoping to have a holiday far away. That is my excitement!

Anyway normal service is resumed here and have hot water back again at long last and have had a lovely bath with face mask and exfoliate. Also had a smile running hot water to wash the pots instead of boiling the kettle.

Treat wise - hmm quite a bit of large chunks of chocolate today

Tomorrow - just having a think about what to do alongside finishing off the cleaning - only the bathroom to do and the floors

I managed to wash my hair and use the hairdryer. Tried to use the tongs but my arm decided it had had enough. So I will have to wait until the hairdressers next week. But at least thats going to be on going. She has installed a Sunbed tanning booth thingy, and I am tempted to have a 3 minute burst on it, when I go next time. But wary of some of the bad press. However I think that its if you over use them that the problems can occur, and at £3 for 3 minutes I doubt I could afford too!.
I seem to be wearing jeans and a white strappy top most days at the moment, then with a blouse or a jumper ontop depending on my moods. Today it was a stripy Tshirt, and then a cardi. In turquoise.
But I was not feeling well so I didnt really do much. Picked up my son from his sisters and then nipped into the local DIY to collect a new loo seat, as the bolts on the old one had sheared off. I could have had a cheaper option of buying bolts I suppose, but the seat was only a basic white plastic one. Now I have a white MDF one, that ties in with the tongue and groove white wood cupboard in there. So I am pleased with it.
Tomorrow I will try and do a bit more if my arm will allow. I have a massage booked for the end of the month, but depending on my funds I may bring it forward if I can.
Have no idea what I weigh, or what exact dress size I am, there are things in my wardrobe that still fit me in sizes 10, 12 and 14! Although the 14 are a bit roomier!
Glad that your Mum is on the mend LL, and that your physio is working.
I couldnt abseil for the life of me, scared stiff of hieghts!
The only exercise I get, is to sit on the swingseat in the garden and push with my feet.!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Morning ladies! Can't sleep - woke up at 5am after sleeping for about 5 hours and there was no chance of me going back to sleep so got up. So far this morning I have stripped the bed and tidied the airing cupboard:rotfl:all before 6am:eek:

Mooloo - I have the occasional sunbed for my little occasional patches of psoriasis and the additional benefit is a very light tan (not so that you'd notice, its more of a healthy look than Essex orange:D). I think the odd one won't hurt as long as you're careful.

Sparkles - good to hear your water is on again - you don't realise how much you rely on it until its gone. Your Xtra time and exercise routine sounds exhausting - but it works for you, so well done!

Off to the BBC studios this morning - should be quite interesting. I think its only a 2 hour tour so will be home around lunchtime. I went mad and booked a couple more Spice things last night - one was a ramble/walk around a National Trust estate (think I can take the dog with me so will give him a trip out too) and the other was an "Alpaca experience". This involves visiting an alpaca farm and spending a few hours learning all about the animals, feeding them and doing a bit of volunteer stuff for the farm/sanctuary. Quite looking forward to that - I love any animal (except snakes!) and this will be a bit different. Both events cost the grand total of £9 (£4 for the walk and £5 for the alpaca thing) so two trips out for not very much.:T

Need to do a bit of maintainance fabbing later - defuzzing, toenails and fingernails, face scrub etc before going back to work tomorrow. This week has flown - its only a 5 week half term coming up and so the long 6 week holiday is in sight (sorry to all of the parents:rotfl:).

Just waiting for it to get to a more sensible time and then I'll take the dog to the park for a run about. Ooh and nearly forgot, must do the Shred DVD later too.

Not exhausting at all! :D More like this :j Must be to do with the fact I haven't had a drink of alcohol for 10 weeks too leaving me feeling :j

WW - your trips sound great and very low price too. I saw a group of alpacas in a field last week who very very funny and inquisitive.

Well, just deciding what to do today after a little lie in, think I'll do a hair treatment and mask and then take the dog on a nice long walk. Later on its feet pamper night as they really need it.

Might take the bike out for a ride if it stays dry and take the dog on his usual long walk too to get those calories burnt off from yesterday!

Hi Ladies, can I come back Please??

Started posting at the beginning but haven't posted for ages, I have been reading the thread often though.

I have still been fabbing though, I do all the normal, toner, cleanse, moisturise, defuzz (well most of the time), exercise (been doing the 30 day shred), but I can't seem to control my eating.

About 6 weeks ago I had a bit of a scare at work where I nearly fainted and had to go home, I have trouble with my neck and working at a computer all day does not do it any good and found out what happens when I don't take care of myself. So since that day I have been to the chiropractor and got my neck back to a more manageable state and have been exercising as this has a great effect on the muscles around my neck. And I have also noticed that despite not loosing any weight I have lost some inches.

Kicking myself though, as if I ate better then I could have lost some weight as well as the inches. My main meals are quite good, normal family meals cooked mostly from scratch, but I can't stop the mindless snacking, especially in the evenings. I eat alot of fruit and veg throughout the day and by the evening I feel I've had enough of that and most of the time I'm not even hungry its just boredom.

I have around 5 stone to lose and so I really do need to get this under control. Any Ideas!!!

Big hugs to all those that need them and well done to all those who are on the way to being fab by the summer solstice.

Have a good day all xxx

    Good Morning All

    I've only just got up:rotfl::rotfl:

I never sleep later than 8-00am - it's usually just 6 or 7 hours sleep for me. I didnt wake till 9.30 so must have had about 9 hours sleep. I feel :j:j I just wish I get sleep like that more often.;)
I must have been utterly exhausted without realising it.

Welcome back Hewie glad to hear that the neck is getting better. I'm sorry to hear about your health scare - maybe you could use that as your motivation.

I think if you are eating healthily and starting to take exercise that is a very good start. Re the evening munchies that is something I struggle with too although I am getting better.

I find that if I eat too early then I'm dreadful. If I eat about 7-00pm it's a bit easier. I try to eat something "nice" so that I don't feel deprived so I do make quite an effort to cook a good meal - something really tasty.

On the days when I can't be bothered and just "make do" with any old thing then the munchies are out of control. Don't know if that makes sense.

5 stone sounds a lot, so why don't you just break it down into mini goals i.e. Remember the Elephant Would joining a slimming club help. They can be very supportive.

Right I'm off to start the day - the sun is shining for a nice change. Might try and cut the grass later.

    Have a great day everyone.

Xtra my extra something this week has been delving in my stash of fabbing stuff and trying out a sample of olay total effects 7 with touch of sunshine. "does what it says on tin" instant sun-kissed glow.

was glad i had quickly fabbed the house yesterday as we had visitors drop by at quite short notice. SIL persuaded me that any more than a further 14lbs off may not be a good look. i am mulling this over and feel she may well be right.
