Well today I went for my first Hairwash/set but as I took DGD and twin1, I didnt actually put it on my Careplan this time. But I will next week.
I feel much better, but my joints etc are in a bad way from being outside, walking up and down the street so much, and now lifting DGD. She has sprained her ankle on her scooter yesterday.
So had to carry her to the car which was parked a long long way away.
Her Mum is here today, so I have had a rest, on the bed, on the underblanket up full blast on no.9 for about an hour! So I can move a bit more.
Still feel a little lost without BF, and today one of the gifts that I had ordered for our anniversary actually arrived in the post. Its still sitting there unopened. Cant face it today.
Hope that your Mum is improving LL, and that your back is as well. Have only skim read, as there is so much to catch up on. But thanks to those who left me hugs etc. I appreciate it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo - glad your hair do makes you feel a bit better and hope the aches and pains aren't as bad today?
Visitors are still here - we went for a nice lunch and a traipse around the big M&S yesterday. I was good and didn't buy anything but mum bought 2 outfits for "do's" coming up in the next few weeks.
Today its the Trafford Centre onslaught and Dunelm - what joy! (I hate shopping!)
They go home tomorrow so will have my house back then!
Not much time to myself so have to get on - hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Just back from Trafford Centre and managed to spend only £20 on new make up. No 7 have a 3 for 2 and they let me use a £5 off voucher so I got foundation, bronzer and a new mascara for £20:j:j:j
Resisted all clothes and shoes and there was nothing much in Dunelm that grabbed me so my purse stayed in the bag there too:T
However, we did go to the Pizza Hut buffet for lunch and I think I over indulged somewhat:o Extra fast dog walk later to try to limit the damage.......
Its quiet here today - hope everyone is OK?0 -

How lovelywhat a good deal. I must admit to buying Marie Claire for the free nail varnish this month, the aubergine one is quite nice! I've also been popping into Home Bargains for the Montagne Jeunesse face masks as they are 3 for £2.
These are things I would never have bothered with a month or so ago, and now I'm just loving getting into all this girly stuff again. Just need to lose the weight now, but that will come.....slowly but surely is best I think.

Hi there
Back still sore, no driving - Dr's orders. He rang me today on another matter and when I mentioned my back he prescribed no driving and complete rest.
So a quiet day, just sorting out some paperwork and falling asleep on the sofa.:rotfl:
Physiotherapy tomorrow - hope they can get me a bit more mobile. I feel that my life is on hold at the moment. Have to confess I'm getting a bit frustrated with all this complete rest malarky.
Well done on resisting the spending WW. I must confess I don't much care for clothes shopping these days either - the shops are full of such tat - I rarely see anything that tempts me. The make up bargains sound great though.
Time to cook dinner, then might watch "District 9" later.0 -
Evening all, been MIA... moved/moving, limited internet, losing the will to live due to unpacking etc.
Just popping in to say hi, hope everyone's well and LL hope your massage works and you feel better soon. Have been doing a little fabbing but will do loads once I'm settled into the new place as I'll have so much time on my hands. Speaking of hands mine are so dry and horrible from cleaningLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Hi,
LL hope you're back's improving. It's a very slow process isn't it? The shopping trip made mine ache terribly (from the walking not the bag carrying, kids did that). Didn't buy anything for me and didn't spend much really, just used the vouchers as much as possible. Used train passes to get there so all in all a very frugal day out. Although WW I'm with you on shopping can't understand how people can spend all day in meadowhell :rotfl:3 hours was more than enough for me and if we'd been more familiar with it don't think we'd have needed that.
Awful weather again here this morning but it's a 'get my assignment typed up day ' so no need to go out.
Have a good day.:) xFrump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

The visitors have gone:j:j Peace and tidiness! (I love them but they don't half make a mess!).
Had a busy day so far - dog walking, then dropping my woofer off at the groomers, a trip round Aldi and B&M with mum, washing on, making brunch for them, packing them off, tidy round and then a dash to pick up the dog again. He looks lovely - all clean and fluffy and had a Union Jack bow on his collar. That lasted all of 5 mins though before it was ripped off and chewed - at least the dog is fabbed up. I look a bit windswept and bedraggled - I started off ok but then got caught in the rain and a yoghurt exploded over me:o
I'm going to have a nice quiet day today to recover from the onslaught and put the house back to normal.
Might pop to the library later if it stops raining but otherwise no big plans to go out except to walk the dog. I might do an hour or two of schoolwork if I get really bored.
Its abseiling day tomorrow so hope the weather breaks a bit - not going to be fun dangling off a rope in a force nine gale and driving rain:rotfl: Be very hard to look fab in a hard hat and ropes - I'll just have to be fab instead! Why do I do these things???0 -
Hi all,
LL - hope the back's improving a little and the physio helps today, at least you have your DSs to pitch in.
adelight - hope the move's going well x
ww - I'm just the same, I love having family to visit but I do breath a bit of a sigh to relief when I get my house back to myself againSounds like they had a good time anyway.
Been busy as usual, OH's been a bit under the weather as well, which hasn't helped. He seemed a bit better yesterday though and is meant to be out filming today (though I hope they're not outside as the weather is awful here!). Then he's meeting up with choir organiser tonight to go over some things since he missed the rehearsals this week, so will probably have to house to myself tonight. Have some photo editing to finish but am hoping it won't take that long and can chill out a bit afterwards. Met the couple from my first wedding last night to go over things, they were lovely but still feeling a bit nervous about it - 22nd June so not long now either, am going to look round the Registry Office on Tuesday. The one here is actually meant to be really nice, is a historic building on the Royal Mile with big spiral staircases inside - the one where I used to live was a rather depressing looking grey brick building.
Seems a little quite on here lately so hope everyone is well x0
