    Morning everyone.

Very wet here and throwing it down with rain so the run is off I think unless it clears up later. Today will be finishing off most of the cleaning and then spending some productive time on the assignment due in soon - boring!

Had a lovely day with mum having a walk around the shops weighing up the value of things and whether things were worth the money. Then when I tried a top on and we were waiting in the changing rooms there was a rail of left over final reduction items. Looked at a lovely pair of lightweight trousers that could be dressed up and down and then looked at the tag to reveal a size 14 medium and cost 50p! Reduced from £35

I persuaded mum to try them on although she doubted they would fit her. They fit perfectly and she loved them. They looked great on and mum was so pleased!

All that hard work of dog walking through the winter has paid off for mum and she has gone down a dress size from increasing how much she walks. The smile on her face was a joy to see as she realised it was true.

Funny how we both said we used to think clothes didn't fit us in per una because the cut had changed.....hmmm, not at all!

Now then, I'm saying this to not write yourself off, not at all. It's never too late to change and when you take the steps to change, hang in there when its tough and you don't want to do anything, because one day, completely unexpectedly, it will be worth it and you'll have a big smile on your face and you'll be so glad you did.

Well, I've woken up to pouring rain. It's miserable:( Typical Bank Holiday weather.
There was a group dog walk planned for this morning but I've had to abandon that and let everyone know that its off - no fun trudging round in the rain with a dog that doesn't want to be there. I'll wait for it to ease off a bit and then take them around the streets for a bit of exercise and their ablutions!
Stanley the visiting woofer has been as good as gold - he slept all night and has been no trouble at all. I'm dropping him off back home this evening where another friend is house sitting for my friend and will take over the babysitting.

So, not a lot on the agenda today now the weather is bad. I didn't do any schoolwork yesterday so I suppose I'll have to do a bit of that but nothing else planned. If I get very bored I might go to the cinema but I'm guessing it will be packed with everyone else having the same idea. Oh, and then there's the hair dying to be done......:(

Feel sorry for anyone having street parties in this weather......

Good morning Fab people. I discovered this wonderful thread only recently - and far too late to ask to join - but was wondering if there will be a new thread after midsummer's day? If so, I'd love to join - I've read a lot of posts and you all sound inspirational so thank you and congratulations!

LL is the organiser of the thread but I'm sure that there will be another one.
Why not just join in now and get started?
    Every little bit helps!

Walked the dogs in the pouring rain - a joy!
Just dyed my hair (hate that job with a passion) so hopefully there's no grey now. While in the shower I also did a face and body scrub so am now squeaky clean:p Off to moisturise everything next and dry my hair.

Have decided to go to the cinema later to watch Prometheus in 2D - can't stand 3D it makes me feel sick and feel like a bit of a n*b in the glasses:o! Have texted new dog walking friend to see if she wants to go too but will go alone if she doesn't fancy it. Will go stir crazy if I stay in all day again today.

Well the furniture arrived. They put them up stairs for me. They had to dismantle the wardrobe. But when I asked if I gave them £20 could they rebuild it they said they didnt have time. But about 7 in the evening I had a call from the driver and he said that he had finished work earlier then he expected and would come and put it up for me for the price of a cup of coffee.:T
So I have a wardrobe to fill today.
But I am rather sore form all my work getting the space ready, and helping the man with the wardrobe.

I have had a shower and washed my hair, but have struggled as I over did it yesterday, and my joints/muscles are all screaming at me. So I will just have to take today a bit easier.
As its no longer my anniversary I wont have to go anywhere, or worry about dressing up.
the weather is terrible here, and its pulled down some of the bunting :( that I had made, and was put up all the way down the street. I hope that it will not bring it all down! It took the men about 3 hours to put it all up yesterday. There is so much of it. I was pleased that it managed to stretch across the street and zig zag up the length. It went much further then I had expected it too.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
