:grouphug: to you adelight and my condolences to you and your family. It was really good that she had all the people she loved around her when she departed, that she was not alone and that you were able to spend a little time with her during her final days.

Adelight - others have said thngs much more eloquently than I could - just wanted you to know that we're all thinking of you and that your nan must have been so grateful that her lovely family were all around to reassure her at the end.
    Take care sweetheart. xxx

    So sorry Adelight xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

adelight I'm sorry to hear your Nan has gone, but glad she had such a peaceful death. Now be gentle on yourself, take time to rest, and share special memories together with your family. Don't underestimate how tired you will be for the next few weeks, so make allowances for yourself.

Lamewolf sounds like you're having a tough time today. Have a virtual and non-touching hug, and some extra spoons.

I was well enough to go back to work this week, but I'm very tired - will take a while to adjust to the new routine. Time for some fabulous rest ... zzz

Just been looking at the local theatre website and there's a new comedy play called Fat Brenda on in a couple of weeks - its all about the mythical Fat Brenda who works in the taxi office in Corrie.
I've been brave and emailed a few friends at work and asked if anyone wants to go and a couple have already said yes - a few months ago I would have never suggested an outing for fear of being turned down. Just shows what a bit of confidence does for you!
Flushed with my success I asked the "ladies that lunch" organiser if I could suggest a meet up for a dog walk for bank holiday monday and she agreed and already a few people have signed up.
Get me and my new found sociability!
Its all down to you all - without your fabbing and support I'd still be sat in watching Corrie on my own instead of organising a jaunt.:T
