My dog (when he was a puppy) used to go for a walk and then come home for a poo!
Always in the garden but still at home. He's much less picky now - will almost poo on demand!

I used puppy pads and moved them closer and closer to the door and eventually outside - it meant that in the night if there were accidents they'd at least be on the chuckable pad.

All this talk of furry babies makes me want another one - grumpy middle aged mutt would not be impressed:rotfl:

    Quite a fab day today.

Busy fabbing the house up and clothes all washed and ironed and put away tidily. Then made some fab preserves of seville orange marmalade and chilli jam. Also went for a fab 6 mile run at a nice steady pace.

Now time to do some fab studying in a bit to catch back up with some reading

  • Well first time in ages I exfoliated in the shower this morning, defuzzed my legs, painted my toe nails !!!!! Put on some make up and did my hair, Also wore a nice short sleeved shirt rather than slinging on OH t-shirt with a fleece. and yep I felt good!:j

We are looking at getting a puppy soon, a miniature schnauzer is what we would like difficult to find any near us though!.

  • I have been lurking for the past few day, just not been feeling up to posting, but I just wanted to resurface to give LessonLearned a hug. We are all thinking of you and sending you love. Take care and treat yourself and be selfish with your time. Do what is best for you.

Hugs to all the others who are also feeling a bit down.

    Morning all,

Just a quick one this morning as really didn't sleep well last night and feeling knackered. Had an ok weekend - though it's amazing how fast it seems to have sped by, why is it the weekend seems to last about 10 mins but the week drags out for ages? :( Still feeling a bit blocked on the book but managed to do a bit with the script, am panicking a little as need to have it ready to post off in 3 weeks if I want to enter the competition and nowhere near at the moment. OH has nearly finished with the edit, which I think he is relieved about as has been hard work - he still sees loads wrong with it but he's a bit of a perfectionist and I think is looking pretty good. If anyone is interested there is a clip of one of the songs up on Youtube, don't think I'm breaking site rules if I link it as not like I'm selling anything.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day x

One of my regular guests is a miniature schnauzer, Sidny. He's about 11 or 12 years old, and diabetic. Here he is:

He's coming to stay again in June, subject to confirmation.

I did one of my most hated jobs yesterday - cut my toenails!:D I loathe doing this - I always seem to get in a tangle with the clippers, and it's just a nause - so a good job jobbed!;)

I also capitulated and let Mr LW take us to the pub last night, and there were two gorgeous little Cavalier King Charles in there - so I came away covered in dog hair!:rotfl:

Got a CAMRA branch meeting to attend tonight - it's actually in a pub we can get the wheelchair into (though no disabled loo:() so we feel we ought to make the effort - so going with turquoisey-blue velvety skirt and top, as it's comfortable to wear and reasonably presentable.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

First day back at work for me today - only 24 more to go before the Easter holidays:rotfl::rotfl:
The female time of the month is upon me and I appear to have put on 3 stone overnight and am aching everywhere:( My clothes felt really tight today and I'm not happy!

I haven't weighed as I don't want to horrify myself until the bloat goes down a bit but I think I have put some weight on as well as the added hormonal baggage. Even my knees and ankles look fat today - just been studying them in the bath.
Will give it a day or two and then brave the scales and then start being better with my diet - I must admit loads of naughty treats have crept back in lately - this MUST stop!!! I will not be Mrs Blobby again!

Lots of talk about furry babies, you all know I love my Star, he's getting to be a right chunky monkey now. His bed squeaks when he gets in! Fabbing not going so well, work is pretty mental but our department is nearly full, was labelling the utensils today, avocado slicer anyone? Could I interest you in a strawberry huller or olive pitter? What about a garlic peeler then? :p

At least you'll know what they are if someone comes in looking for one - didn't even know you could get strawberry hullers or olive pitters although I do have a garlic crusher thing. Hope you are enjoying it all anyway, Wiilow.
