What WW said!!!
LL, Take care and take time for your self and your family x x
It seems very frivolous to be talking about clothes and bangles and new lipstick when so many of you are battling against the odds in so many areas
I wish you all the best and hope that taking time to pay a little attention to yourself and presenting your best face to the world helps a little to get you through your troubles

I think its precisely why we should be talking about clothes and bangles - spending a bit of time thinking about ourselves, making ourselves feel better (if only by wearing a new lipstick colour) and generally having something to distract us is a GOOD thing.
I love hearing about everyone's purchases, successes and failures and tips. Let's keep it up - it was LL's philosophy and it works. Let's keep the spirit of the thread going and look after it for her until she's ready to burst back on here with instructions for the next treatment, advice on fashion items or a general telling off for being a little piggy (you can direct that one at me LL!).0 -
Still basking in the glory of a pass while keeping my fingers crossed the next one does as well too in a coujple of weeks.
Ran 10 miles after work tonight - hard going but eating most of the day and a large lunch worked better than last week so at least had the energy to keep going even though it was very hard work. Will have a week off the long run until next weekend and try and build a bit of strength and speed up.
Next week is a mix of work and uni so I'd better get some reading done this weekend before I go back.
LL - hope you feel better soon and pop back on to keep us all in line. You take some time out to feel better in RL too as its hard going for you allfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hi I have been lurking for the past week as DS1 was on half term holidays so didn't really get much time for posting.
I have managed to keep up my fabbing routines though. I have now been given the all clear from my consultant following my hip replacement to return to normal life so hoping to get more fabbing done.
I am starting a diet and fitness plan on Monday. I bought the stuff I need today so am all set to go.
LL - hope you manage to have some time for yourself. You have had a rough time and you need to have some time to recupperate and get your strength back. We will miss your words of wisdom and will look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Hope everyone else is okay and will aim to get on more and post more frequently.0 -

Just a quick post to say LL sending you massive *hugs* and thinking about you. Try and relax and recharge a bit, take some time for you - and try and make it about you missus not helping everyone else out as usual! We'll still be plodding along when you feel like coming back x0

I'm going to get shoes first thing tomorrow then zoom round the shops trying on dresses. It feels like a big spend, but my ebay items are doing so well that I don't mind. aaaaaaaaaaahhhhLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Adelight - personally I would probably go for the classic grey one and add some jewellery or acessories for a splash of colour. I think it depends a bit on the job/company as well though - are they quite traditional, formal and established or are they more new, young and innovative etc. Eg for a bank would go for the grey, for a design company would probably try the brighter one.0
