    Good afternoon ladies

    Feeling rather geriatric today:(

My bones ache - must be the damp.

I am so tired and have such a lot of catching up to do that I have decided that whilst I will continue to post here most days - to keep myself on track - it will be more general in tone and not alphabet specific or particularly theme led - at least not for the time being.

I need some rest - not that I'm likely to get it - I really must press on trying to get a grip with my finances.

I need to decorate the spare room and try and advertise for a lodger, fab up my cv and start seriously job hunting - have a major declutter and sell anything that's not nailed down.

So ladies - although I will still be around and posting each day, and I will of course be keeping up with the fabbing as best as I can, and still keeping a watchful eye over you;) I do really need to engage with RL and make some money.

Will keep you posted of course. :D

    2hrs 20mins walking today

    Over kcal allowance

    Lomg day at uni

Back to fabbing now and back to work tomorrow. Think I'd better sort my nails out and try and neaten them up a bit and oil them as usual. Tomorrow will attempt to fab myself up in warm clothes as it was very damp and cold today when walking around. Also might attempt to remember to do a hair pack tomorrow and pre treatment if I remember when I get up!

Will attempt to stay on track with kcals tomorrow and the rest of the week now the temptations of the uni snack bar are gone for a couple of weeks! I did stay strong and not succumb but it was quite hard at times when I felt cold, tired and surrounded by bacon and sausages and scones, danish pastries and muffins and so on!

  • Hi folks. I have been keeping up with the fabbing. Got back into going to the gym and I have even booked a couple of classes - going to try zumba for the first time ever on Thursday!

Also have kept up with wearing make-up but forgot to take it off last night - doh!

Painted my nails with one coat of clear stuff, can't be bothered with the coloured stuff tonight coz it would mean multiple coats.

Got a free sample of BB cream and some lovely shampoo and conditioner. Will test out the BB tomorrow for my last visit to the job centre :D I am so pleased to be saying that.

  • Congratulations on the job willow, and your last visit to the Job Centre. :j:j

Lesson Learned, try not to take too much on at once and get too stressed about everything. You seem to just have so much going on, I don't know how you do. Don't forget to take care of yourself.

Well done on all the exercise that has been taking place. honestly don't know how you all find the time/energy and motivation after a day at work. I get home and am always starving, so end up eating dinner very early, and then having no energy to do anything else.

Pod, I have attached my website to my details. The site is in a bit of a state, and needs to be changed, so I will only keep it up for a few days for those who want to have a bit of a nosey.

I am really liking this washing my hair backwards thing. My hair feels absolutely lovely today.

    Happy fabbing everyone!

    morning all.

Willow - congratulations on the job :)

Well, I mentioned family stress due to wedding invites - it's all sorted now for everyone except h2b and I now. Meaning we're the ones still upset and stressed over people's behaviour whereas they're sailing along merrily.
We are limited to numbers due to money, and h2b has a big family who are all close so there's a lot from his side needing invited. we decided where couples were concerned if they were married/living together/engaged/had children/didn't know anyone else they got a plus one. Anyone else unfortunately didn't.
H2b's brother went mental his gf is only invited to evening and whined to his mum who got involved who then wanted us to drop people (meaning MY side!) and h2b just exploded at them and so did I. Huge row. Explained our reasoning and it wasn't just her then it would be other gfs and bfs meaning dropping something like 6 people - none of whom would be from his side or his mum would moan and I damn well deserve and expect my family and friends there.
We were actually going to start phoning places on Monday to cancel we were so annoyed and stressed. Bottom line though is we're standing our ground and they can like it or not come.

So fabbing was slightly forgotten about over the weekend, plus I've sprained my left wrist and I'm left handed so other things are a touch more difficult and I've had to forgo my usual yoga sessions. Funny how you notice stuff like that missing so quickly when you're in a routine, I feel more stiff and uptight despite it only being about a week since my last session.

WOW is all I can say to your website. I absolutely love the ballet shoes. They are fantastic :T Don't hide your light under a bushel you have made some beautiful things :D

Well french manicure didnt last :o note to self use rubber gloves I bought instead of hiding them under the sink :rotfl:Oh well just means to get to practice again.

    Morning all,

Lizzie - well done on getting the assignment in - I would think that's definately contributed to the fuzzy head, I know they always make mine like that anyway :)

Maman - I was a little annoyed but they did say they hadn't realised anyone would come over. Smart casual-wise (and it is the hardest!) I tend to wear things like jersey dresses, tunic tops, I have a couple of longer length skirts with boots. I think you can play around with dressing things up or down though - like you can wear jeans but with a nice top, heels and jewellery to make it look a bit dressier. Still working on it a bit myself though :)

LL - try to not to overdo it hun, I know you have lots you want to do but if you make yourself ill or do yourself an injury will be slower in the long run x Don't worry if you need to cut back on the posting, we understand that RL needs to come first.

Sparkles - that is some major willpower there - am very impressed :D

Allie - zumba sounds fun :) With the makeup, I have a pack of wipes on my bedside table for when I forgot (which is on a regular basis :o) I see them when I get into bed so if I still have the make up on can just have a quick wipe over - not as good as a proper routine I know but saves me waking up with panda eyes :rotfl:

Findingmyway - your work is just beautiful, I'm so impressed. Agree the website perhaps needs a bit of tweaking but the template is nice, just maybe needs a little more content and products up there. I love your tree of life and the ballet shoes especially.

Bratz - how annoying of your in-laws. One of things that really puts me of wanting to get married is that families seem to think they can dictate to you about what you 'have to do' and who you 'have to invite' when imo they should just be happy to share your special day. At least it sounds like you and OH are united though so well done for standing your ground, hope it blows over soon and you can start enjoy the planning again x

Anyways, straight to choir from work last night and wasn't home until about 10pm so not much time for anything else - must get my ebay items packaged up tonight, they were won on Sunday night so am feeling a little bad haven't posted them yet :o Need to get some more bits up this week as well. Still loving the backwards hair washing - if anything it's working too well, I keep losing my hairband as it's so shiny it slides out (maybe I just need a new hairband :rotfl:) Hoping for a quiet night to catch up on stuff but think OH's friend is still stopping with us so we'll see - looking like my only chance this week though, tomorrow we're going to look at the venue for the concert so they can check sound and positioning etc. Friday I think we have people round and Saturday is the actual concert. Thinking I might see if I can book a day or two off work just to relax a little (or at least to do some of my writing or something).
