Morning all,
Bratz - I wouldn't say my cat is trained as she generally will do whatever the heck she likes but she knows I have certain buttons she shouldn't push - OH says I have a 'scary voice' when she's gone too far :rotfl:The favours sound lovely - am so sorry family are stressing you out though. It's sad but weddings just seem to bring out the worse in some people, hope you're ok x
cjj - welcome :T I used to be just the same, I would feel really guilty about spending a couple of quid at a charity shop but wouldn't blink at spending ten times that on family or OH. Am trying to work on it, I figure if I feel happier and more confident it benefits them as wellSounds like you've made a great start anyway! Oh, and with the hair thing I get flyaway bits so I tend to use a shine/smoothing serum rather then hairspray - I have a John Freida one that I really like but lots around.
LL - sorry you didn't have much luck with the dealerIt is frustrating with the creativity - I think a lot of people don't have much concept of the work that goes into things so expect to pay the same price as for mass-produced tat  Hopefully we will manage to find something that works.
Adelight - well done on your results, that's fantastic :j
findingmyway - that sounds fabulous, I don't think you can put websites in the main threads but you can add them to your profile bit so if you do feel like letting us have a look I would be interested
LW - glad you're still lurking at least, hope all going well hun x
Elfen - congratulations :j:j and your rings are lovely, how did he propose? I think we need some romantic details
Rosetta - glad your hairdresser was nice, am sure the new 'do' looks lovely
Callisto - have had similar problems with OH in the past, like I said I played an online game for ages which I mainly started so we could do something together. I don't play it anymore but it did open me up a bit as before I would never really play any games, now we play quite a few games together - I don't like shooters but will do some of the more fun racing games, the 'lego' games, quizz games like Buzz that are multiplayer and we are both really into music so will play Rock Band a lot (especially with a few drinks). We will also sometimes have a night where we sit and chill to music, he has a massive collection on the pc so we will take it in turns to pick songs. Anyway, what I'm trying to get at is that my OH sounds a lot like yours, he will watch 'new' tv programmes with me (usually that he downloads) but if I'm just sat watching cack on telly that's usually been on before he gets bored very quickly. Same with films, if he really fancies something he'll watch with me, but I'm just putting on a film I've seen before for the sake of it he isn't interested. Maybe ask him if he has any ideas of things that might be fun to do together? I don't want to sound like I'm lecturing or anything, you say you have thought about leaving him and obviously I don't know how things are as a whole with you both, but if that's the main problem just wanted to share my experience x
Adela - that is a horrid thing for someone to say and I would definately try and call them on it - nothing worse then people who think they're 'funny' when in reality everyone just wants to slap them
Anyway, this is turning into an essay so welcome to new people, and sending positive, fabbing vibes to everyone else
Had quite a nice weekend, managed to get some writing done and most of my ebay stuff sold (though the item with 20-odd watchers and about 5 questions on it didn't, makes no sense to me!). Tried the backwards hair washing and am quite liking it, feels very soft and is nice and shiny. I agree with whoever said it might not work well for structured styles though, it does feel a little more flyaway then usual.
Had a nice night Friday, had a few friends round for some drinks - and it was such a shame but the annoying couple couldn't make it in the end, can you tell I was gutted? :rotfl:Have to go to see beginner choir straight from work again, meeting OH and the two other guys who will filming there - is this Saturday so think they're getting a little nervous now. Looking like it's going to be another busy week0 -

Now I am finding I cannot get enough water down me, always thirsty, but hoping that is body wanting the water to flush out toxins and it to will pass, not that its a bad thing, just feel am more on the loo than off it at moment:rotfl:LW - glad you're still lurking at least, hope all going well hun xIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

hello everyone!
im off to the gym later on and I'm thinking of changing my Slimming world WI to today because i found out my old consultant that i like has a group tonight.
finally got feedback from the job i applied for at the job centre. i had to do some online tests that i ended up doing at 2am because i couldn't sleep and I've apparently scored 80% in them! it said I'm above average and scored higher than at least half the group in everything :rotfl: if i can get that at 2am what on earth were the other applicants like?
the feedback is priceless though, to improve my analysis and interpretation skills i got the suggestion: "Consciously ask yourself “so what?” when reading written text or looking at figures."0 -
Thanks; I'm still pretty much on the virtual floor from having my confidence knocked for six, but will try and make myself post if there's something I can definitely speak on (as per my words to PAH above). I'm also dealing with levels of pain even worse than before I started taking morphine, so that's a bit of a bummer, and makes even typing on the laptop quite a trial, but hey ho.:o
Hun, I really hope it's not all due to this thread. I know that I disagree with friends on a very regular basis but it doesn't mean that I think any less of them or that I don't still respect their opinion. It would be a very boring world if we all thought the sameSorry you're having a bad time with the pain at the moment x

Hi all
creeping back in quietly, not been on here for a while, been a mad January at work, with the tax return deadline, now thats all finished with I have stinking cold and have been sent home from work. Think its the releif that its over with for another year. Beats me why people always leave it to the last minute.
Not much fabbing going on here lately and defo don't feel like doing any today, just sitting watching rubbish dvd's. Why is it that when you're ill all you wanna do is eat rubbish food when really its the time to be eating good nutrionish food.
Any way hope to get back into the routine of healthy eating and exercise by the end of the week, really have to start seriously getting into this as before I know it the better weather will be here and i'll be sat on my bed crying cos I cant fit into anything nice.
I've had quick scan of the thread and it seems I'm lagging way behind in the fabbing, can imagine you all looking gorgeous.
Hope everyone is well, off to have a catch up.Chiari Brain Malformation - decompression survivor

LW - I have pm'd you. At least I think I have - I'm a hopeless technophobe.
Sorry to hear that your pain is so bad today.0 -

Don't worry we've all been there. My worst crying fits have been in changing rooms when I've tried on clothes:eek:
Don't be too hard on yourself - just take your time, eat sensibly, move around a bit more, and lots of TLC.
Remember the old Aesop's fable about the tortoise and the hare.

Personally, I'm getting a bit fed up with elephant however I'm not giving up.;)0 -
