Evilsquid - hope hammy has forgiven you for the vet trip :) how cute though that she understands what you're saying (well when it involves treats at least :rotfl:)

she understands the word "dominos" "chinese" "pizza" and "chicken" too. she also knows that the oven timer going off means we have food too. how do you attach photos here? I've got a cute one of her that will make you all giggle.

smeeth be careful that's a lot of weight to lose in two weeks especially when you don't look overweight at all in your picture
welshwoofer ((hugs)) hope you feel better soon. make a sugar and salt drink to help you rehydrate and rest rest rest
lamewolf i really like your fireplace, doggie is a cutie too :D
evilsquid that's interesting that you say your hamster understands those words. hamsters don't recognise words but they do recognise tone, so maybe hammy will respond to "salad" and "protein shake" soon ;)
bratz81 not sad at all. i get excited at all the fresh fruit & veg at market and all the posh grub in waitrose- looks so yum! my friend started getting graze delivered and now i want to try making my own posh snacks

Weeehelll, I woke up this morning with a rash all over my cheek bones from hair line to right below the center of my eyes. I have no idea what caused it, maybe it's my cold? It looks like lumpy blusher. Thankfully me and my rash had a whole first class carriage to ourselves(it was only £10.55 and i had most of that in free coffee hehe) and now I'm home watching top model all stars waiting for my family to finish work. It takes my skin so long to recover from a rash it's so sensitive and almost translucent, e45, hydrocotisone etc just make things worse. GRRRR!!! Anyway, have a good day everyone :D

    Hello all

I have been lurking all week and started feeling very un-fab - grey, dank weather and feeling generally miserable

New haircut and lovely highlights on weds and beautiful sunshine today made me feel much better and I am now fabbed up for a night at the dogs!! Never been greyhound racing before so really looking forward to it

Will try to catch up over the weekend

    Take care

wee bit of fabbing done here for weekend after a few days of finding it hard to get motivated. hair, makeup and nail polish all done. ironed a few tops for the next few days. caught up with a few things on list of things to be done.

    have a great weekend everyone.
Teamwork means.......never having to take all the blame yourself ;)
  • Hi folks. Haven't done any real fabbing at all this week but I have had my hair cut and treated myself to a massage. Going to have an early night tonight and chill out.

Thank you for all of the good wishes - feeling a bit better now, only dashing to the loo every 30 mins now instead of every 5! Have also managed to keep a bowl of soup in/down so feel less nauseous. School phoned to say quite a few staff and kids have the same thing and they think its norovirus:eek: Certainly isn't pleasant whatever it is.....

A big sleep and a quiet day tomorrow will hopefully get me back on my feet. Isn't it funny how animals know when you're not well? Pooch has been as good as gold all day even though he's only been pottering around the garden between the downpours and once around the very small block (usually has a good hour walking every day). Perhaps he's been reading this thread and decided on Empathy for today!

I look like death warmed up but will try to rectify that a bit tomorrow - may take a bit of doing though!
    Hope everyone else is well?

Looks like cold weather on the way so a good excuse to dig out the nice bright scarves and gloves to brighten us up a bit.

    Morning all!

Can anyone recommend a good free online food diary site? I want to start noting down what I eat with the times that I eat. Would preferably have some features such as emailing the daily/weekly reports, searching for food I've eaten, noting down exercises, etc.

    Thanks! :D
Have you had a look at myfitnesspal? It's quite good and has a great app if you're into that, you can scan barcodes with your phone and it just pings that onto your list for the day.

Well, I thought I was better - slept a bit and hadn't had too many visits to the loo - took the dog to the park to slowly stroll around and let him have a run and was sick in a bush! Very glam! Luckily nobody saw me, trudging back to the car was a nightmare, sweat running down my back even though its below freezing here.:(
Stopped at my gay best friend's house to pick up some school stuff he's brought home for me - didn't go in and we stayed at a good arms length and his first comment was "bloody hell love you look like you've been dug up!" Charming!

So I think another day on the sofa is required.

Will have a bath and dry my hair and maybe put a bit of face on to make me look less corpse like but other than that I'm a fab free zone today:o

I did have a nice bit of post this morning though - a £10 M&S voucher for filling in a teaching survey, will put it towards something for my new wardrobe after payday.

Also got a letter from the bank trying to lend me £25,000! And they say you can't get credit! It makes me mad, encouraging people to get into debt - needless to say its in the bin. Took me long enough to pay off everything and just have the mortgage as my "debt", not going back there! Sorry, rant over.....

 hope everyone's having a good weekend (or as good as it gets if you're feeling under the weather).

Ashamed of myself yesterday as went out with hair that really needed washing/styling. It was so dry I thought I'd leave it but never again. Did a deep condition for hair today and another OCM. I can see an improvement on chin but stll problems with nose. Are those strips any good?

Having a lazy day at home today and may not bother with make-up as my face feels so clean. I'm delighted to say I am now very conscious of planning outfits rather than just throwing something on. Out for lunch tomorrow so already thinking what to wear.

    Back later.
