If your kids want to go to McDs then no-one here should judge.

I disagree. Someone needs to educate people about what's good and not good for them.

You don't have to give children what they ask for and in many cases it would be wrong to do so. That's what being a parent is about.

Read the OP's other posts first, then take another look at your post. I know you mean well and i'm sure the OP would have liked to take his kids somewhere else but he doesn't have that luxury i'm afraid.

The occasional McD's doesn't hurt anyone either.
  • I am also going to say IBS/Gallbladder...I had a dodgy gallbladder and got it removed last March..since it went dodgy and even since the op if I eat certain things within about 5mins I have awful cramps and then I have to use the toilet immediately. After using the toilet I am back to normal. The things that set it off vary from wheat bread to cheese..and can change day to day. Only last night I went to a restaurant, ate a meal I have eaten many times before and within 10 mins I was hit by the cramps.
If its only Macdonalds that affects you just dont go, if it starts to be other foods too then get checked by GP.

  • would they use hydrogenated oil-I'd be surprised if they did after all the bad press it receives.

My husband has a terrible re-action to that.

Can't think they would use MSG-but after a chinese meal of chicken egg foo yung-the next day I felt shattered-I was on a course and all I wanted to do was sleep-very odd-but won't be repeating it.
