:TWell done on all fronts El. :-)
I really feel that you are getting to grips with everything and it is all coming together for you. I love it when a plan comes together:D:rotfl::rotfl::jBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

huston we might have lift off... mr el has figured out what i was doing wrong... i needed to raise the cell height to get all my writting in ... fingers crossed thats us now on the way
in other financial news i tilly tidied 55p and sugar shuffled £1 ... yes i did have a couple of biscuits today, but that was after my run and only 2 ... nowhere near the 3/4 marathons i can shovel in my mouth at a time.... so i am going to count it as a suger sidestep, tomorrow i intend on no sugar again0 -

bob you know something so do i, its been a long time coming and we have made so many mistakes and learned things the hard way, but i feel now more in control of the finances more than i have ever felt before. i think alot of the reason that it is working now is because mr el is fully on board rather than agreeing to placate me... it really makes such a difference when you work as a team as opposed to pulling in opposite directions
i think that we will look back and see that mr el's total breakdown and my t.i.a have been the best things that could ever happen to us
mr el has learned he is worthy, he has learned he must pull his weight and he has learned alcohol is not the answer to everything.
i have learned that just because i can do everything for every body doesnt mean to say i should, and i have learned to say NO, that was a hard one i can tell ya, but i am glad i have learned it:j:j
i really hope we manage to keep up the momentum, especially with the health front, i want to live a long and healthy life and i want to live it with mr el ( who is also healthy) .. yes the money is important ... but i think we both know that our health comes first after what we have been through0 -

He definitely is worthy and something i thought i would add- is that you both seem so positive at the moment. You always were i found, but it did need himself on board. Also i bet the lack of alcohol spends has impacted really well on your budget and that helps a lot as well.:D

aww shucks thanks bob:o:p
would love to say we feel the benefit of the no alcohol purchased but we just dont seem to at all, i think tbh we couldnt afford it in the first place but somehow managed, although thats probably not true at all,
in fact when i think about it we will be feeling the benefit but not for a while yet is probably a better description, any spare money we are trying to pay to the debt just now so that we can get this challenge completed on time ... or dare i say it ... early
so the money he was spending on alcohol will be going to pay a visa bill or going to the mortgage etc, or as what has also happened and one that i enjoyed, going to see the grand canyon, hmmmm you got me thinking again,
think i will mention that to mr el later on about how much worse things could have been if he was still drinking and how lucky we both are having seen some of the most amazing jaw dropping sights on the planet, when this time a few years ago we were split up and finished.
life is strange with many twists and turns, but always interesting and worth living, its good to be reminded of that, thanks bob you just reminded me
will go and add that to my " great things of 2013" jar now0 -

beanie thanks .. it means alot
there is no two ways about it, without mse and the wonderful people on here our lives would be very very different, and no where near as much fun
it's really down to the community that is on here that we are where we are
its funny how people that you have never met before can mean more than some of the people we may know in real life ... funny in a nice way0
