    Hi elantan.
Sorry to hear that you have been unwell. I guess you could read up on the Mediterranean diet, as people from the Med countries have a lower blood pressure and colestrol than us. Hope that helps. Alot of it can be managed with diet. And yeah that they said you could do gentle exercise.

Hope it all comes right for you

    Hi all,

well yesterday my eye started hurting again, my Bp was up the day before due to the hospital etc and i think that may be the cause of the pain, so i lay in bed in a darkened room and rested my eye, it seems to be darkness soothes my eye, so i'm wearing my sunglasses alot and pretending i am famous ha ha

i have been reading up on foods to eat and foods not to eat with high Bp and cholesterol ( just incase my veins are full of gunk) so am starting to get that organised ... i think i am going to have to do a red / orange/green card system for hubby to understand as he has been going oh i'll make you some tablet to cheer you up ... poor man just wants me to be ok

in other news we have applied for a new credit card no decision has been made but hopefully he will get it and we can transfer everything over that would be one less thing to worry about

so i'm off out into the garden today to get some more planting done :) nice and destressing day planned

i checked it again last night , it was up again, hmmmm not entirely sure why it was up as i didnt get stressed yesterday at all, well tbh i dont really get stressed anyway at anything ok i am a bit highly strung when it comes to somethings ( i cant stand people abusing power for instance) but i deal with those situations as and when they arise ( like complaining about the nurse, bang out of order that nurse was) then i let them go

but i dont stress over things ...life is too short for stressing

today i am thinking of going to the beach for some seaweed for the garden , only thinking mind you as mr el may have other ideas and i havn't ran it past him yet and he may have other ideas himself, got some stuff on crop rotation so am going to organise my polytunnel and figure out what i want and where

Enjoy your day, whatever you end up doing.....and remember, a little bit of what you fancy does you good, so just keep things in moderation :)

I think I might send you an article. Tell your hubby, any more talk of tablet and I will be tempted to come up and give him a slap!

Things that are hard to digest tend to be good - green veg, porridge, things that are high in fibre. I'm quite sure tablet doesn't fit in this catagory. He hasn't got you on a good insurance policy has he?

lol Butti ... i will find out :D

well i went to the hospital and got the last of my tests done so i am just waiting for the final results.... not that anything is final yet but when i spoke to the carotid ( see i spelled it right :) ) doppler radiographer she said as far as she could see my blood flow was good ...

i will phone the dr in about 10 days to make an appointment to get the results... bp has been up and down like a yo-yo ... i have been eating much better and even not had coffee on the night shift

Work is very stressful just now ... i cant talk about it online but oh my goodness i really need to get out of there, the stress isnt going to help my b.p i am trying to keep out of the situation ( which is impossible seeing as how it was me that spotted the issue) ... if i dont get a new job soon i think i will ask for a sabbatical to a new unit after summer as i dont want to be there anymore ... there are a few of us that dont tbh ...

in other news mr el got accpeted for his new card ... so i will be transferring things over soon

    This is it;

    I hope it works.
It's about the most divine breakfast menu. Blueberries aren't cheap but if you're in the supermarket at 7pm and they're on offer it's well worth picking up some yoghurt and honey. I LOVE it. (But then I quite like Phil Vickery aswell).

For work, follow the advice they gave me at Citizen's Advice. Do what you can while you are there. Tell someone above you if you need to. Leave at the door when you go.

I hope you can get out soon. May try and come and see you soon.

Will talk on the book of the faces.
