10 months in and 90 left to go ... the reality is starting to kick in :)

deff taxi and beanie ... a result ... now to get a good one tomorrow and all will be well in elantan world lol

paid hubby's glasses today cost £80.98 but if he is successful he can claim £80 back from his work as part of his new job is using vdu screens ...have had to put he glasses on the visa card but hopefully if he gets his work to pay the money out i will clear it straight away

although on that note he also was informed last friday that he is being moved to another part of the company, he will still not be going back to the job he did before he went off ill last year but he will no longer be doing the job that he enjoys either ( unless it is holiday cover etc) as there is no job there for him, the person that he was covering for was off sick for 6 months but is returning back to work soon

well i went to the hospital today and the consultant indicated that he feels it has been a stroke ... i had an ecg which according to the nurse looked fine ( yay good news) my blood pressure was through the roof (not good) ... i have to go for a head c.t and a cartoid doppler on tuesday

whilst there however i had to complain about some of the care that i recieved, when it came to dotty aunty Jean i let alot of things slide as i didnt want it to reflect on her care ( although not the nurses not using gloves) but when it comes to my care i am not willing to accept poor treatment ... so there i was first visit to a hospital in a long long time and i was complaining ... not an enjoyable thing to have to do but maybe by me doing it some nurses standards will infact improve

other than that i am just going to be learning about lowering blood pressure

complaining deff raises it butti ... but this was after i had had it taken lol

cartoid doppler is i think best way to describe it is a scan on the neck artery's to see if they have been narrowed

did speak a bit about excercise today and i have been given the go ahead for gentle excercise

Carotid woman, carotid! Send me a message on the places with the faces about what they mean by gentle and we'll go from there. I'll be spending quality time with a man who definately raises my blood pressure this weekend, and forces me to second hand smoke. Oh the joys!

Glad the hospital are looking into everything for you but bad that you had to complain.Hopefully,you can get your BP down.Take things easy and don't go too heavy on exercise maybe a few gentle walks to start.
