Catshark that's a very good way to describe it, it is so much easier when all parties are in board otherwise it is like swimming against the tide

    Thanks taxi,

Well book has been posted off, it would've cost me £1.60 to post and whatever for the packing, but I joined the Royal Mail survey thing the other month so used my free stamps from there, I may not always have the free stamps so I need to be aware of this when putting more things up, not sure when the money will transfer to my account, but the main thing is I've sent it :)

Mail has arrived, we have a surveyor coming this week to value the house, so that will be good to tick that part I the process off, I also recieved £150 in vouchers that we had ordered, will pop into the travel agents and pay them this week, we got these vouchers through mr el's work scheme thing 5% discount, so the £150 cost us £142.50, we have just shy of £2,000 to pay for the turkey holiday (10 days all inclusive) so we will save just less than £100 paying it off

That's £100 saved which will be nearly all the spending money that we will need I hope ... Maybe another £100 or so but not much more than that seeing as how it's an all inclusive and we intend on paying for our trips before we go ( have seen a few excursions we fancy)

Was thinking earlier on about a conversation I had with a shop keeper yesterday, she had explained to me that although she didn't want to get one of those card machines in she had had to due to the amount of customers that didn't have any cash but were having to rely on credit cards for purchasing foods, I asked was this maybe a cash back card, she said she doubted it as there were so many people that were using them and she had talked to a few and the stories were the same, there was too much month at the end of the money, she explained that a lot of her customers were having to rely on credit cards to survive, this got me to thinking about how many people are struggling currently, don't get me wrong were not having a very easy time of it and our food bill ( as I'm sure many if you are aware) is one bill that I do need to be able to control better but were thankfully not at the stage where we are having to use credit to eat

This depression just isn't easing for people :(

    Forgot 88p Tilly tidy :)

Will need to revisit the sugar shuffles, I had to give them up due to lack of money earlier on and havn't started them back in the way I would like to, in fact I have bought sugar 3 times in two days so couldn't pay into it anyway ... But I think I need to start back to get me back on the straight and narrow ... Will need to work a way in which I can do it though
