The small payments I meant was £25 to one visa £30 to another etc... This way it's gonna be chunk to that mortgage and Tilly tidies etc to the other ... Will be hitting the higher interest one first obviously , but once I've paid as much as I can to that it will be time to hit the other one ... If that makes sense ?

  • Hi El, good luck with the remortgage. Good to know more of your money can go on debt busting rather than interest :T

Have a fab weekend. I'm not sure whether you're working this weekend, so keep up with Buttie's 'just say no'. Sending loads if positive vibes via the ether :)

Yep I was working last night ... Had another "issue" with work, this time I ha put in to work in my own unit, so arrived on time to a phone call from the boss telling me I ha to go to another unit as they can't get that one covered and they need someone with my experience/ qualification/ pay grade to go, to say I was angry is putting it very mildly

I think the happiness was more from having a few days off lol ... Although I do think its good that we have now decided once and for all what to do, it does feel like a new chapter is happening for us :)

Funny how your situation hasn't really changed, but deciding what to do completely alters your mind set. It gives you control over the situation, which is great.

Have added you to my list of people to help when I win the Euromillions. Don't build this into your future plans though as I don't currently buy a ticket :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I hope it's a happy chapter for you both with less stress & worry. You do sound more relaxed now the decision is made.
