they don't have the money or staff for any of the schemes they are proposing

imagine all the claimants signing every day - it would be chaos - my job centre staff do the basic minimum they need to just to get through their work load and that will continue

what happens in the job centres and what they are telling the government they are doing are two different things because the staff actually dealing with the reality and know what is possible and what isn't

i went on the WP and the same thing was going on there - they were ticking boxes to keep their jobs

if the headlines are to be believed from the Tory conference looks like we'll all be joining you with the daily signings Leroy

as for me Nick the Pr*ck has turned out to be really quite laid back and fair and not the jobsworth I first took him for thank goodness - he has got me going weekly to some stupid one hour session using their computers which starts next week but he confided in me that a lot of his claimants are being made to do 4 weeks mandatory slave labour so he gave me the soft option
What happened with you going away & signing-on

Yippee, go leroy, you'll win in the end. :j :T

Maybe they are testing daily/frequent signing at your JC for new schemes next year announced by government this week.

technically going away when I did I was taking the mickey and I could have been sanctioned so my advisor changed my signing day and hid it in the system to look like an ordinary signing time so he did me a favour

this is what I mean about Govt. policy being nonsense and people on the ground actually dealing with real life

great Leroy - let's hope what my JC staff have known from day one is FINALLY trickling down to your advisors where you are

that the whole "post Work Programme" thing just isn't workable and they are punishing the wrong people

yeah hopefully, i think its just there way of weeding out the ones that dont stick to the agreement, also surely if they had everyone coming in daily it would cost millions? and that seems like a waste when the only point of it is to harrass jobseekers, also its not going to change anything because everyone will still need to come in even if it is daily other wise people will starve, so what do they hope to acheive with this. its not going to acheive anything

i obviously didnt like going in daily for how ever many months its been but i was still gonna have to do it

so whats this new scheme they are coming up with? everyone has to go in daily?

the new scheme you may be talking about will start in April 2014 where people either have to work 30 hours a week to get JSA or attend the JC 30 hours a week to look for work.

And of course by doing this the interviews will flood in!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
