    how would they find out.

the tutor told me this himself and he has no reason to make it up

the attention to detail is amazing - one lot of work books was sent back to Training Associates from the dWP because people had written questions without question marks at the end of them

everything is microscopically scrutinised by the DWP

we spend most of the time signing everything we do to prove we are in the building - it's real Big Brother stuff

The JC is making sure they don't have a repeat of the Work Programme debacle

all I hear all day is sanctions sanctions sanctions

he asked the group who has been sanctioned here and THREE out of seven of us put their hands up

it just feels like an inevitability

when I expressed concern about being sanctioned my JC advisor said

    "that's why I'm here - that's my job"
  • They think its their job to sanction you as opposed to helping you get a job?no wonder they are messing with people's heads due to the failure of the WP

I got told at the end of the two week course there's a report on timekeeping etc so they probably use that to create sanctions
what i am getting at is if the training company goes easy on you and they dont tell the jobcentre and you dont tell the jobcentre then how will the jobcentre know. there may well be a time keeping report but if they are going easy on you then they are likely to fib on the report they send to the jobcentre if the truth would mean they would suffer a consequence themselves.
  • I'm not even on JSA any more and I'm being harassed by the work programme.. I ended my claim the day after I was referred (never met them, never signed anything) and even told them on the phone, and sent them a letter (which they phoned to say they had received).. and I'm STILL being harassed!

How many here though have just had one appointment and nothing now for a month?

    No weekly signing
    No MWA
    No courses

I have just signed once and that's it

I was just saying I am not experiencing anything at all like stated on here.

All that means is that you are on the Jobcentre Plus Offer and not Mandatory Intervention Regime. You probably have recent work experience and show a focused attitude to work search.

Make detailed notes of all letters, calls etc. that they are hassling you with and then report them to the police.

I have had recent work experience and shows jobsearch focus but I'm on the stupid MIR from your description

Ultimately the decision to place you under MIR regime does lie with your advisor, but normally if a WP completer has recent work experiece, i.e. within the 3 months prior to the WP ending they would usually be placed in the normal 'JCP offer'.This would also depend though how long you actually worked for.
