my Mum doesn't have a computer and is in a small town outside Oxford so I won't be able to log onto UJM for 4 days - do you think this will be a problem?
if you have allowed them access and are required to log in everyday then it could be an issue.

You have to do whatever your jobseeker's agreement says and as this is the post WP regime I'd bet that you have to access the internet daily. You'll definitely be sanctioned if you don't do at least what is asked on the JSAg.
only if they have allowed access. if they havent allowed access they could fib if they choose to. before anyone slaughters me i arent telling them to do that its their choice to make.

I dont know about that as Im not on the work programme myself.
However, I would imagine, that there will be a local library you can use. If you are a visitor to the area and havent got a library card they may let you use the computer for a short while on a temporary card.
Also in some libraries they have a computer which anybody can use for 15 minutes without being a card holding member of the library.

No, you are under no obligation to ever give access to your account. See point 82 of the Universal Jobmatch Toolkit: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/165908/response/408650/attach/html/4/UJ%20Toolkit%20Chp%203%20v37.pdf.html

"82. We cannot specify to a JSA claimant how they provide us with records of their jobsearch activity and Universal Jobmatch will not change this – it is not therefore possible to require JSA claimants to give DWP access to their Universal Jobmatch account. "

Have you had any reply from the jobcentre yet about Section 3(8) of the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Schemes for Assisting Persons to Obtain Employment) Regulations 2013?

Nope had nothing back. Not even a letter from the decision makers to see why i didn't go in. Only had a phone call from JCP yesterday. Some woman claiming as part of the Post WP Leavers they call you every week. I was like nope no 1 said and i left month ago so why did you only phone the week after i made the point about regulations. I know other people who don't get phoned either.. I just said i was fine looking for jobs without calls and hung up.

Use the 2 week holiday you are entitled to on JSA (if you haven't already done so).

If on holiday in the uk you are still required to look for work, I was told to find the local JC and use their terminals.

You have to be available for work but you can be excused from looking for work. There's a specific part of the holiday form (ES674JP ?) that deals with that.

Like most things that benefit the claimant, they don't advertise it!
