I have only had 2 appts all the rest were job searches or recviews
The JC even wanted to know on several occasions what I was a doing an Unsupported job search there for!!
I am guessing they will suggest 'leave to do her won thing' as there is nothing else to suggest.0 -

I have not had a 1 2 1 for the last 3 months as the 'review' was done before they called me over and the last one was not even done when I was there!
No training
No better off calculation or whatever
All sessions where unsupervised and they have no idea I did anything when there for the hour. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

This is not strictly true, they do have a right to claim payment for a job they had no part in securing if the claimant signed the consent forms at any point whilst attending the WP.
It is good advice not to sign any forms consenting to share information with third-parties. Write to the WP provider withdrawing consent if they have been signed, this should stop any potential aggravation such as mr johnson is now receiving upon finding his own job.0 -

Write to the WP provider and withdraw consent to share your information with, or contact, any third-parties. This will prevent them from being able to claim any related 'performance payments', and will give you grounds to take the matter further should they continue to harass you for employee details.0 -
Yes that's the point. When they came back and said it seemed strange i said did you check Section 3 point 8 of the
Jobseeker’s Allowance (Schemes for Assisting Persons to Obtain Employment) Regulations 2013
she said yes and as far as they were doing it was the WP wasn't an employment measure for us.
Hence why she now needs someone else to recheck as they think by the info i gave they are misinterpretation it to us.
She was pretty confused by the info and by what she knows about the WP so needed some 1 different elsewhere to go through it and get back to them.
I hope i'm not back on MWA as wth has litter picking got to do with my job roles in "Factory/Retail/Warehouse" Yet MWA put me on road sweeper lol.
I'm a lovely sides man who kicks litter from path onto road for the sweeper lol.
Loony2012 any more news yet?0 -
Had my first post work programme interview yesterday. My advisor got a tad upset when I quoted part 18 of the MWA guidelines. Claimed he'd never heard of it and that I sounded like I "didn't want a job" :rotfl:
Apparently it's 8 weeks "work experience" too.
BTW I thought that these mandatory work schemes were now illegal. How have they got around the ruling?0 -

No mention anywhere about work experience and I would love to see them I suggest I need some since I have never been out or work till now and can remember my job very well and only lost my job not my brain.
So you have to do 8 weeks work exp?
Where? Why?
Its not a job is it!??We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Aye, the work experience crap came out of the blue. No mention of it by the WP provider.
Yes, it's 8 weeks long.
Possibly nationwide?0
