    you sound very slightly disapproving

please don't de-rail this thread with petty assumptions

It's actually been a lot of support to me to know I'm not dealing with the stress of the chaos and badly thought out procedures that I'm on the receiving end of

people have been informative and helpful whether they are long term unemployed or not

if you want to kill the thread and all the support it's giving people keep towing the DWP party line and the judgements because all you will do is force people to start another thread and we all agree to block you

or we could carry on a constructive discussion

there is plenty about YOUR life I could disapprove of but I don't know you so why would I get judgemental

    do me the same courtesy
Wow-wot a resonse!!!!I will take your threat of being blocked seriously and will refrain from making any more posts on here.Sorry for any offence caused and I wish you all luck in your search to secure employment

Just stating that after 25 yrs working in this field of which 10 was as a JCP adviser AND being married to a senior manager within DWP I am certainly not clueless when it comes to rules and regs around Jobcentreplus.
Anyway as I previously mentioned I will no longer be posting on this forum due to upsetting some of your members which was unintentional.

Bye bye and the best of luck in your jobsearch.

A JCP advisor is NOT in the recruitment industry at all

I am not upset its just that you really have no clue cause if you did you would be telling us now just what the WP can do for the likes of anyone who has been out of work 12 mths or more?

Maybe get them a job? LOL

I just realised that my 2 years on the Work Programme are up and I've been in my job over 6 months so I guess they have made some money from me.

I've read back a little way into the thread so I guess some others are now coming to the end of the 2 years too. What happens next?

I saw some posts about everyone having negative views on them. Not everyone does, for me it was a positive experience BUT they didn't get me my job. I got me my job. I spent a week on the application form and my advisor didn't have the time to help/look at what I had done. I did have nice, supportive advisers who really helped me though so not all negative opinions but not all advisors are like mine and they both got made redundant as they get through A LOT of advisers!

That explains why you are clueless.

Yes, you runaway when you can't backup your posts.

You do realise the Work Programme has been a monumental failure as are most DWP/JCP programmes driven political dogma & ideology implemented by clueless incompetent DWP/JCP drone staff looking after their jobs.

only if you signed the consent form and why would you say the WP is a positive thing when they never got you the job?

Its a total and utter waste or everyone's time.

Pointless appointments and nothing to back anything up that they said at the very beginning

Well i say u should stay, but u need to look at how many the wp has helped with finding work,i never found the wp hard to do infact i found it easy as most off there staff were from phone sales most dont no the rules in place and try to make it up as they go my first adviser just wanted to talk about his self and how good he is when in fact i already knew most things about him because i looked him up and his a conservative councillor so he had to go yes i did complain about him so got a new adviser my second one said she could not help me with work because i did not want to do retail and could not help me with funding for the training i needed for the kind off work i did so yes it was a waste off time, i just used to turn up say hi talk for five mins about aload off old tosh and was on my way.But now im working they seem to want to no me more,i should also point out the staff at my job centre were no help, never did they ever say heres a job for u why not apply for this, even mwa they could not find me any where so never had to do that. Some people do need a kick up the back side but do we all need to suffer because off the few, Lets make it fair like if u have paid tax in the past u get a high rate and if not u get a lower rate and have to do all the crap and let the dwp run some thing along the lines off wp not private companies just out to make money.
