if they start by saying you are here now because you have just finished the wp i would make a point of saying no i havent. i dont finish until the 5th july.On my last attendance at the WP they told me my provision ends July 5th, and that my final appointment would be next week, jobsearch and then the "wrap up" 1-2-1.
I also got a letter from the jobcentre, "invitation to an office interview" for monday 24 June.
I'll post on Monday what they do with me.0 -
you only use the drop down box if you arent applying dont you? i have noticed not all vacancies have an apply button. therefore even if you apply for it the site doesnt record that you have.
One of the reason they want everyone to use UJM is that they have total control over the system, so they can stuff you, but you can't stuff them. That is also why they try to deter employers from posting email address's on UJM, and force people to use the "SANCTION ME" drop down box!0 -
that is correct. you can claim travel for any attendance that is not on your signing day. i hate claiming travel there because they take you to a small room and nobody bothers to form a queue.I have never claimed travel expenses from the jobcentre, but I think it is possible to claim for any attendances outside you normal signing time, I'm going to try and claim for Monday, and see what they say.0 -
they are forcing people to sign up for it when they leave the wp. unscrupulous advisers are also saying you must allow them access. now ask yourself why are they so desperate to have access.I do not even have an account on it and never been told to open one of that I have to use so I guess I am not in care at all but still it cant be used to stuff anyone as when they MAKE YOU apply for a job and you get turned down as you are say Overqualified then you tell the JC you want an interview and if they fail to get you one then you will report them to the DWP and your MP
but then again I have not been made to apply for any jobs on it.

well they dont need it for your evidence that can be provided in other ways. so there has to be a motive. now whats the chances of the motive being of good intention? not likely i think. when they use unscrupulous tactics to get people to do it they are obviously upto no good.I have no idea but you tell me ?0 -

If you applied for this even if logged in they will not see you have applied at all so its all !!!!
ALL jobs if they want to keep a track of you should be apply only via the APPLY button with an option to add a cover letter!

It's a new toy to use & abuse.
Someone ex WP has already been threatened they have to login 6 days a week, make notes every day & that advisor can see their login times.
These idiots, like the clueless Tories, have in the back of their mind that people are up to no good, not looking for work, that they must be doing something else with their time.0 -

i am only new to useing it but there doesnt seem to be any option for a covering letter. you click apply and it asks you to select the cv you want to use and thats it. with some jobs theres no apply button. you can usually still apply coz theres usually an email address but the site doesnt record it without an apply button.0 -

So why is there no where for a cover letter I ask myself?
