yes it could mean one. the people doing signing are seperate to the advisers who will be giving people a hard time.
They wont have the time or the people to do so as with 7-8 they run behind by sometimes up to 30 mins just signing people who are already on the WP

    Ok ready for this

Over heard someone having their 'last review' this afternoon

It took all of 3 minutes and the guy was being sent back to the JC

The advisor said 'good luck' and 'don't be surprised if you are sent back to us and we see you again'

She said you will go back to them for a while till they realise they can't do anything and will just send you back here.

    Great stuff!

My WP advisor told me that the larger of the 2 JC's that send people to them was sending people straight back to them after the 2 yrs was up, so they basically stay on the WP.

I wonder what will happen to me. I'm on ESA and will still be when my 2 years are "up" I don't have any dealings at all with the JC at the moment. The WP already don't know what to do with me so hopefully I'll end up off their radar and be given a bit of peace to fully concentrate on getting well.

well if it does turn out to be as they describe back at the jobcentre then i think most people would prefer to be back with their wp provider instead.

I don't care either way but its easier to walk 10 mins to the JC instead of 1 hour there and 1 hour back on the bus

Oh yes more spec letters and CVs today

I had already emailed to myself 10 address of companies so just shoved the CV and spec letter in the envelopes and then wrote the address and names on them etc

When the woman was walking round (remember we are meant to be really applying for REAL jobs in this hour) she asked how everyone was doing then she saw my list and I had nearly done it all and said 'oh AP007 you are very organised' LOL

Why is not one else I wonder?

One girl spent the hour writing what I saw was 4 envelopes and was still there when I left when the hour was up

In that time I also managed to apply for 6 jobs and emailed them to the advisor

It is a total waste of time and when I have my next review I am going to ask how they are funding the stamps.

    Say 25 people per hour doing 10 letters = 250 @ 50p = £125 per hour!!!

On my last attendance at the WP they told me my provision ends July 5th, and that my final appointment would be next week, jobsearch and then the "wrap up" 1-2-1.

I also got a letter from the jobcentre, "invitation to an office interview" for monday 24 June.

I'll post on Monday what they do with me.

Many organisations don't like emails, including the Jobcentre and SOME work program providers, because every thing that is written by them can be used against them.

One of the reason they want everyone to use UJM is that they have total control over the system, so they can stuff you, but you can't stuff them. That is also why they try to deter employers from posting email address's on UJM, and force people to use the "SANCTION ME" drop down box!

If I had some of the things the JC and workfare providers have SAID to me, in writing, I could sue them for a million quid.

I love email, I do everything via email.

On another note, if they make everyone who leaves the WP after 2 yrs sign on weekly, thats basically another benefits cut for those who have to use the bus.

    What do you mean here?

I have it all in writing. Their request for me to send spec letters is in writing.

I do not know what you are getting at there.?

How can anyone stuff you on the UJM?
