Absolutely - you can just mess up the interview/ application! Say the wrong things, over or under do your skills. Make it obvious you have no intention of doing the job on a long term basis, you are going to be looking else where.0 -

Anyone desperate to work would and should take any interviews and jobs there are going. Be it NMW or any other money, the only way out of getting hassled by the WP provider or the JC is to get a job.0 -

The JC can make us all apply for EVERY JOB going but they VAN NOT get us an interview!!!

I agree with what you said, but it's other's on here suggesting they sabotage their own interview if they have one for a job they don't want. Surely any job would be better than getting harrassed by the JC or WP.0 -

Just when they make you apply for a job and you do not get the interview ask them to call the company and get you one, which they can not do and wontWe’ve had to remove your signature. but the new thing isnt for everyone on the wp, only for leavers. so it will be less people for at least for the first few months.Like I have said when I sign I have to wait and I sign at 9am - they have SEVEN WP signing points that sing all day , 5 days a week and I cant see that for 45 mins they are going to see only one person!! In on day they will only see 8 people max
It takes them 1 hour to sign 8 people at present lol0 -
they can make you apply but they cant make them offer you a job.I just had the interview from hell with 2 women telling me I need to take a cleaning job if I'm offered it as I'm making barriers to find work
I said I can't live off that money in London and they said get tax credits
Of course they have all the power so nothing I said was even considered
it was incredibly unpleasant and it was meant to be
I just to warn anyone who they do this to - try not to argue! - they were definitely trying to antagonise me into saying something incriminating so they could use it as proof that I'm not accepting work
my dole days are over
I have to go in tomorrow and I know some dip stick will sit me at a computer and make me apply for every sh*t slave labour job going and wait for me to object so they can stop my money0
