It won't be at the jobcentre, they might have us signing weekly until they find us a "placement".

I would bet my last sixpence that it will be the same as the New Deal. time will tell, I'll be on it in a little over a month, I will report what happens on here.
the news story says you must be on something within days. that is why them also saying you must attend the jobcentre regularly is silly. how can you if you are on something within days. it sounds most like what people did for 6 months previous to starting with a provider on flexible new deal.

Sitting in an overcrowded room, doing nothing other than looking for vacancies in out of date newspaper job sections for up to 30hrs a week! I kid you not!

The only bright spark for someone was if they got a placement of some kind!
everyone used to get a placement on the new deal we had here.

yeah, they dont have toilets in the open to the general public areas probably incase they get vandalised or set on fire. they will obviously have to provide some sort of toilet if they have people there all day on courses. the chances are 121 appointments will be at the jobcentre and anything else will be contracted out.
they will just tell us to use the ones in the shopping centre but hey cant have lots of people leaving the JC and walking round the town to the shopping centre

no, they wouldnt allow people out if they are meant to be in there. wherever they have the intensive jobsearch courses there will be a toilet available to use for the clients.

They do not have one - its that easy. The job centre is not geared for people to be there.

I did a group session there for the WP when they asked us for feedback and the first thing she said was hell and there were NO toilets to which some bloke then said 'you have to have toilets' and she said we don't

i guess it depends how long you are there for. if they dont have the ability to provide toilets in the jobcentre then the course will be ran elsewhere. its probably a legal requirement to supply a toilet. not doing so will be breaking health and safety laws.

Of course it is a legal requirement and at the WP now we have to ASK to go to the loo as the door is locked!!

Our WP place have installed a keypad on the toilet doors too recently.

Fortunately there are still open ones on the floor I use but the main ones are locked :/
