i dont think its a case of them now saying the jobcentre is the best place for people. its just a case of them wanting to keep hassling people. after the 6 months you will get refered onto the wp again.

You will? LOL

They may as well get a load of money and throw it into the street as this is what they are doing paying for such a stupid thing.

The WP wont be happy to see me back in 6 mths hahah

I dont know how my JC will deal with WP leavers but the one in the neighbouring town are sending people straight back to the WP to carry on with them.

yes you will unless you get a job or they have something else lined up which is unlikely.
you may get refered to a different provider next time.

So they failed the 1st time and will do again. There is only one provider and not even in the borough

It's coming up to 3 weeks now since I was supposed to go to my re introduction to the WP, still haven't heard anything about any sanction or anything. But in the meantime I have got a part time job as a auction driver only a ad hoc position but still keeping me ticking over until something more full time comes along.

We are telling our clients about this as most of them are not aware of it. WP may not be the most efficient of programmes but many of us Advisors do genuinely want to see people get into work and are not all about sanctioning people.

Anywho, we are warning them that when they return to JC, it wont be very nice, hopefully they will find something before having to go through all of that, its clearly meant to make life difficult.

WP will be just fine having you back, your provider will be getting paid again.

WP will be just fine having you back, your provider will be getting paid again.

Paid for what? They earn peanuts for taking someone on the books and nothing at all for me being there

Yeah but peanuts multiplied by a high number equates to lots of peanuts.

I'm not sure how it will work when you return, I'm guessing they are going to be tougher in terms of requiring you to attend multiple times each week, we are all in the dark on that, but you may just end up being with another provider if that's possible.

But lets not jump the gun, hopefully you'll find something during the 6 months with the JC.

I can and will only attend on the dates and times they refund travel which is Monday Wednesday and Friday 11am to 12 and 3p to 4pm

They have no room for multiple times a week so at a guess that's a far flung idea. I go once a week for an unsupervised job search and that's it. Wow the wonders of the WP who will help and support you into a job my !!!!!!
