If you do decide to go bankrupt, (in the UK) there is a two part fee which you have to pay to the court in advance.

The first part is the official receiver's fee of £525
The second part is the court fee of £175, but if you're currently getting an income related benefit and take proof with you, you may get part or all of this waived.

No I am not thinking at all it was used as an answer to being sent back to the JC after 2 years on the WP and being made to work in the streets cleaning or something just as bad.

I do realise this, more then you know.

I have spoken up and I have a VERY easy time and you all seem to have a bad time and are doing things you do not want to do.

I have and am continuing to speak up and because I have done so I am made to attend 3 times a week to do an hours job search. Still being discriminated against for refusing consent and giving them my CV, an issue I have now took up with the Chief Executive which is the last stage before I go to the ICE.
  • Been offered an interview for a job, the job requires a CRB (which I'll pass, I have the required documents). It also requires proof that I'm allowed to work in this country. I called up and they require a valid Passport or Driving Licence. The problem?

My passport expired last year (can't afford to pay for an updated one unless I was guaranteed the job) and I don't drive. I know there are other ways to prove it but they won't budge as it's company policy.

Thinking of seeing if the Work Programme fancied paying for an updated passport, don't fancy my chances though! For those thinking I should just take a punt I have very little experience in this particular job, so it'd be a long shot....

This is coming days after I had to turn down another job interview as the premises would have taken in excess of 2 hours each way (not counting waiting for the actual buses). The original advert stated a different branch of the same company hence my applying for it in the first place.

Think I'll do that. I also asked the company if the proof could be supplied if I obtained the job, they want it up front. If I could provide it after the fact I'm sure I could get them to pay for it then... and then rescind permission for them to contact said employer, lol

I had an interview last monday and when I was at the WP a couple of days ago my advisor asked if I ever hear anything back from the jobs I apply for and when I mentioned the interview her determination to get the details out of me was amusing, alas she never got them.

I have to apply for 5 jobs a week for the WP and about 6-7 for the jc but do a lot lot more.

If your managing to apply for that many suitable jobs a week you must be seriously unlucky, surely if your applying for that amount then something has got to give.

Yes sure am unlucky when employers/agencies:
1, do not read all applications as they have too many (up to 300 or so for each job)
2, discount you as you are over qualified
3, discount you as you haven't been working (yeah I would if I could get a job)
    the list could go on.

sorry if thats another 'answer for everything'

It's bit pointless & counterproductive them persecuting you & seeing you so many times, as they're not getting paid extra for it.

And they should have realised that they may not get paid anything if you get & stay in a job, as you've witheld consent so have an idea what's going on, how they get paid, what information they need.
