  • Hello there,
I was referred to the WP as well. It is Ingeus. I am not really happy about it since I read quite a lot of bad reviews about it.

There's one thing: I have been on JSA and my advisor agreed on paying for a short training course that would have helped me immensely. That course is about 200 pounds.
The next time I see her, she says, oh sorry I cant do this anymore, you are now on the WP.

Do you think the WP will help me with the costs? Theres no way I cant afford it but I am sure I would get a job out of it.

I just dont know if I really want to be on WP for two bloody years! I have not met them yet, I will receive a letter from them but I wonder if I am already on the 'list' for good?

Im with the Wp with Ingeus, they are useless. They have managed to reduce unemployment in my area though, because they have quadrupled the number of advisers they employ since they started!

When I have a WP appointment, Im left at a PC for a couple of hours to do job searches. I do these every day at home, so I really dont need to go there to do them. And they are being paid for doing this, in other words, being paid for doing nothing.

Its simple, fix the economy and unemployment will go down. Govt always thinks it can get people back to work in a recession when there are no jobs, they cant grasp the simple fact that if the economy is broke, unemployment will be high.

They aren't being paid untill you get a job.

    There are jobs but
    1/ too many people applying
2/ a lot of employers will not look at the unemployed and those with the bad attitude are keeping the unemployed, unemployed!:mad::mad::mad:

The problem is that an economy based on capitalism is unsustainable. The greedy ones have only themselves to blame. Unfortunately there's no quick fix, without throwing billions down the drain at the situation. People will always put down communism, and point to countries that have tried and failed. The problem is they were not adequate implementations of communism, as money still existed and there was still a political system in those countries. After more numerous severe financial crises, money will no longer have value - and communism will be the way forward.

The only good business for Spivs these days, is being a Landlord. People's priority is to have somewhere to live. No wonder the housing market is ******.

The Government have proven how out of touch they are, by thinking the workfare scheme is great. Replacing paid workers with free unpaid ones, working purely to sustain their benefits - wonderful.
Wanted a job, now have one.
