well got messed about again today by the provider. apparently i cant go in there fortnightly to do jobsearch anymore because they have too many people being refered. my advisor is also having to rearrange all her appointments due to this. this means i wont be in in a couple of weeks for a review like had been arranged. i will be in next for a review at the end of may instead. she originally made my appointment for a day that i will be away. she wasnt happy when i told her about it. she said i hope you are going to tell the jobcentre. it seems instead of doing jobsearch in there i am going to get phone calls instead asking me what i have done even though it is all recorded on their website and accesible to my advisor. so basically i will be getting a phone call were i read out to her info that she can access on her computer screen.0

Its the same price no matter how many stops 1 or 100!!
I said I could say I walked to the end of my road to get a bus to the other bus stop where I then get the other bus the 7 miles to the provider instead of walking the 10 mins to the bus stop where the bus to the provider leaves from!0 -

I dropped daughter at breakfast club (£2.50) then got to bus stop and waited for bus which showed on screen it was going to be nearly 15min late than expected, so decided to get next bus to main town and walk to the office (£4.50) all the buses were running late and being slow so got to town at 925am and still had 5-10mins walk, so called the office to say running few mins late and sorry.....basically got told NOT to bother coming, just go home as they couldn't wait for me to get there.
How long are the appointments normally? They all seemed nice 2 weeks ago when I went for introduction. Dont even know if I will get expenses refunded either!?0 -

I was giving an example of you saying that you can just say how much it cost you and you get it.0 -
donnajunkie wrote: »you said it would double the cost and now you are saying the cost is always the same no matter what length the journey is. i guess due to you useing some sort of pass.0

What? Double the cost for TWO busses and I never said Id get off the bus at a later stop?!!! What pass is this? I do not have a weekly travel card!0

donnajunkie wrote: »ok, it costs double coz it involves 2 buses instead of one. i dont think you mentioned that but perhaps i missed it. i assumed you have some sort of pass because if people just pay a normal fare it gets more costly the further you go while with a pass you can have a short or long a journey as you like and it wont make difference to the cost.
In reply to you saying you just tell the provider how much it cost you and they pay up I said I could have if I wanted to swizz them out of £ tell them I got a bus to the other bus stop 10 mins walk away where I get the bus to the provider therefore telling them it took me 2 busses to get there where in fact its only one!!
A paper ticket is £2.30 for a bus 1 stop or 50 stops
A Oyster ticket (on an Oyster card) is £1.35 for 1 stop or 50 stops
Both as long as you do not get off the bus and change - hence me saying to swizz them I tell them I got TWO busses0
