It seriously DOES make a difference as they could be dipping into it if they do not get proof of the travel.donnajunkie wrote: »it is what people are entitled to. whether they like it or not shouldnt make a difference. it is quite annoying when they act as if it is coming out of their own pocket.0 -

you wouldn't.donnajunkie wrote: »but they have the signature of the person claiming. why would you sign a form for £2 if you were only getting £1.50?
Not sure what your point is here. Are you suggesting that once they have your signature they are going to forge it from then on in?0 -
But you wouldn't sign for anything other than what you were getting but you have to have proof they are giving you the correct £ or you could just lie?!!!donnajunkie wrote: »but they have the signature of the person claiming. why would you sign a form for £2 if you were only getting £1.50?0 -
So drop it then if you think you know it all and to be honest you haven't got a cluedonnajunkie wrote: »and we have gone over this before when i explained the reasons behind what i say.
the providers are a company and for ANY company to pay out for anything in the petty cash they get a receipt and a signature for the £
If at my old company if we wanted a pint of milk they had to get the receipt or I would not let if be passed through the end of month return and then the person who took the £ for the milk could be up for stealing as they have no proof they bought anything with the cash for the office.
I think you will find most if not 100% of companies work this way0 -

About 20 minutes on the bus and then a two minute walk. It costs £4.50.0 -
what i am saying is the claimants signature is evidence that the fare has been paid to the claimant and not been pocketed by the provider. the only time there is a logical need to ask for a ticket is when you suspect the claimant is exaggerating the amount they are claiming.you wouldn't.
