But you wouldn't sign for anything other than what you were getting but you have to have proof they are giving you the correct £ or you could just lie?!!!
that is why i say it makes you feel like a criminal because they are saying we dont trust you by asking you for a ticket everytime. if they suspect someone is exaggerating then they can either ask for a ticket or they can just call the bus company and ask what the fare is.

what i am saying is the claimants signature is evidence that the fare has been paid to the claimant and not been pocketed by the provider. the only time there is a logical need to ask for a ticket is when you suspect the claimant is exaggerating the amount they are claiming.
ok well lets twist this, how many people who are absolutely skint would exaggerate and claim a couple more quid for their bus ticket? I wouldn't but I know plenty of people that would.

Isn't it just simpler and easier to cover both the provider and the claimant to just show the ticket.

So drop it then if you think you know it all and to be honest you haven't got a clue

the providers are a company and for ANY company to pay out for anything in the petty cash they get a receipt and a signature for the £

If at my old company if we wanted a pint of milk they had to get the receipt or I would not let if be passed through the end of month return and then the person who took the £ for the milk could be up for stealing as they have no proof they bought anything with the cash for the office.

I think you will find most if not 100% of companies work this way
i mentioned it in response to someone else (not you) and you are telling me to drop it. when this was discussed previously i responded to your points like its the way things are done in offices, they have to have tickets for proof etc and you didnt and still dont have an answer to them. you just keep repeating the same line they, have to have tickets for proof.

Yes they HAVE to have proof you have used a method of PAYING transport

I fail to see how you can not see that!

Yeah I could say I get a bus from my house to the other bus stop in stead of walking and claim twice as much!! LOL

Like I keep saying ANY petty cash system for any company is operated like this - the correct way!

some would, most wouldnt. if they suspect someone is lying then they can say bring a ticket next time just to check rather than making everyone feel like they arent trusted. alternatively they could just ask for a ticket on the first day. if the journey changes or the fares rise then the claimant can show another ticket. asking for a ticket everytime is taking the p**s. i believe my provider requires the ticket you use to get home as well.

they know where you live and expect you to board a bus at the nearest stop to where you live and get off at the nearest stop to the centre. so you cant say you get off at a stop further away.

Bit annoyed today with the WP as had appointment at 930am this morning. I dropped daughter at breakfast club (£2.50) then got to bus stop and waited for bus which showed on screen it was going to be nearly 15min late than expected, so decided to get next bus to main town and walk to the office (£4.50) all the buses were running late and being slow so got to town at 925am and still had 5-10mins walk, so called the office to say running few mins late and sorry.....basically got told NOT to bother coming, just go home as they couldn't wait for me to get there. :(

How long are the appointments normally? They all seemed nice 2 weeks ago when I went for introduction. Dont even know if I will get expenses refunded either!?
Need more income or less expensive children!!
Trying to slim down in body, mind and clutter....
