Asda Van hit my car!

I think you should contact Head Office asap.
You only have the manager's word after all that their van is undamaged. The same manager who has retracted most of the denials so far!
With no chance to verify it for yourself I would take it with a pinch of salt.0 -
Not just that but worst case scenario there will be fragments of paint from either your vehicle on the van or the van on your vehicle (so don't go washing your car too much). Dont knwo if this is used in general bumps or if its only for major accidents. The witnesses will definately help. Can't imagine they'll put up much of a fight but if its anything like the accident i had with a 3rd party driver in a council van it will take a long long time to go through. Think it took 7 months for the claim to go through, if they wouldve paid out after 4 weeks it wouldve cost them about a quarter as much as it did.0

And its very easy for one car to have damage and the other to have little no damage. I hit a small van (car van) rear right, litterally not a scratch on his van, my car (front left) smashed to pieces, depends if they hit somewhere near the chassis (normally not too much noticable damage) or edge of body work which gives considerable more damage.
Btw it was his fault, he wanted to do a u-turn in the left lane of 2 going right i was in the furthest right.0 -
Well I purchased it 3 weeks ago and there was a couple of marks on it, it's a black car so it's the worst for showing them.
I wouldn't have purchased it if there was great big dent in the passenger side wing and paint missing as badly as it is.
The bloke at asda that came round earlier said that it might be the black pole that sticks out after the van (IFKWIM) as that stretches out either side of the van and is wider than the bodywork.
That it'self is black and therefore probably hard to show damage on.I am a Mortgage Adviser

well could be, as if your car is black and asda vans are white then their would be marks on both vehicles0 -

I've seen Wickes vans do the same as well - only they spent about 5 minutes trying to wedge the wing mirror on they'd taken off before scarpering (sadly for them I'd got a photo of them doing it with their numberplate in view for the owner of the car they'd pranged). Don't know how that one panned out - but they were trying desperately to wedge the wing mirror back in so it didn't look like it had been hit.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

ROFLMAO. :rotfl:
No, you didn't say that!
If there's any learning to be done it seems to me it's you learning typing rather than me learning reading.
Just because you've edited it now doesn't alter the fact that that's not what you originally typed (the original is contained in my quote), and suggesting that I didn't read it properly after you've altered it is, I must say, rather dishonest. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
