Mushy peas re the hair. I have a problem with this too as the cat pulls her hair out, (she currently has a baldy bum again) and I have very long hair which I keep finding everywhere! I could never get it all up until I bought my Pod the other week, I swear it's the best £20 I ever spent.

Aussie great to hear from you :D sounds fab

 Well this is the first day the evil woman he calls mother is already at it. Knew I needed to go to dentist and of course I get a text, sorry wont be back

Tops it all off when a letter arrives for me to have more invasive procedures (bowel problem) on Valentines Day & the day after, not that we're doing anything but have a Uni lecture that night. I think I may be postponing that!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Have managed a whole hour of admin work now of the paid kind. I have to get it all done by the end of the week. Most of it has now been done but it is the odds and ends that are proving difficult.

Still off to town now to do some chores.

    See you later.

  • Quick question: can somebody please tell me where to buy arrowroot? I am within reach of Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Somerfield, Lidl, Aldi, Netto, Borough Market and a couple of health food shops. If I can get it in the supermarket which aisle would it be on?

    Rzl xx

Now, I can answer that (any luck with chervil btw  ). I last bought it in the supermarket. Kept with baking stuff, such as baking powder, etc.

So, I made my lunch today, forgetting I have a lunch meet up with friends! And OH is too ill to go to cinema tonight, and he had free preview tickets :( Oh well, I guess it means i can tackle that carpet!

BR - your soup sounds delicious. Do let us know how you get on with sweet potatoe, I'd love the recipe.

    Aussielass - how exciting, Japan!!

Oh hell! Why do the nicest people get the cr*p all the time? My best friend and neighbour has just phoned to tell me she has lost the baby she was carrying. They have been trying for 2 years for this baby and they wanted it so badly :(
