    Good Morning

    Happy Birthday Churchmouse

    (((Hugs to all ))))

Feeling better today although tummy feels a little tender. Have already done essential business phone calls and banking so will have a coffee and start the ironing mountains. OH will take the puppy for a walk and then to the vets for a check up.

Want to get on this week so am up straight for half-term, then will only do the minimum business work so can enjoy myself with the kids. DD is behaving a lot better, think some of it is that its hard work at senior school and she is tired so a will have a few lie ins over half term.

Best get on, have defrosted a chicken and will have roast later with the leftovers being used for chicken curry tomorrow.

    Have a great day.

    Hi everyone :hello:

Patchy weekend here. Good points were getting some fab stuff from Freecycle and a practically new Buggyboard for £15 :) Took the boys shopping for DS2's birthday pressies and found some nice things (lots of toys 3 for 2 in Toysrus at the moment if anyone is looking). Oh, and the biggest being DH getting a new job offer on Friday afternoon after a really tough 2nd interview :j: It's less money initially but hopefully he'll be much happier there, he really wanted the job.

Not much going on today, going for a play date then DH has the afternoon off work so I am probably going to Lidl. Blimey, life is exciting!

    Morning

Just popped in quickly knowing you would want to hear the news from last night;)

I afraid to say the Pu*ssy Cat Dolls were absolutely awful :rotfl: :rotfl: Even our 2 eleven year olds got very bored half way through. It doesnt help of course that they are all drop dead gorgeous with figures to die for!! That did not influence my hating them though:D

Off to the Isle of Man this week with work so depending on the tinternet costs I may be a bit scarce - looking forward to a few days by the sea though should blow the winter cobwebs away for good:j

    Have a great day all
    Hugs Nelsxxxx

    kyle what a beautiful picture.

Nelski Im surprised to hear about the P4ssy Cat Dolls, they've been an encouragement to my DS. As one of the girls has a cleft lip, so does my son, and he's amazed to see that people like that can actually become famous!

    Happy Birthday ChruchMouse :D

Wow Kyle, my kids will be jealous again, they keep looking at the sledge and asking it will ever snow again. It's frosty here but no sin of snow :(

Spiddy well done to your DH, that is great news :) hope he enjoys the new job

Learningtosave great news about the dry nights but hope you all feel better soon

Kids have gone to school, we've had some real issues getting little one to go recently, he was hiding in his room again this morning but we seem to have figured out why eventually. The work is too hard (this will be reading as he's really struggling with it, possible dyslexia awaiting assessment) this is also the reason why he keeps breaking his glasses (he says they don't work as he still can't read bless him :( ) and that the teacher wouldn't let him go to the toilet making him wet himself. I've been in and had words with the head this morning about it all.

Right well DP is out, his mother is back, oh joys, so he has to go and sort stuff for her, well according to her anyway. Hopefully he'll be back by 12 as I'm at the dentist at 12.30pm and need to have someone with me. Going to crack on with housework this morning to try not to think about the dentists!

Hope everyone has a good day.
One day I might be more organised...........
