Well, finally mine has been delivered, just been updated.
I've been offered a free delivery code but do not know if I can chance it. Certainly not for my business things.
Have you emailed that guy again Soo?0 -

Yep, was told the driver had been given a map and it was supposed to be out for delivery today- but nothing.
As for my inward parcel I have tried phoning yodel but they only allow the phone to ring for about 10 minutes before they cut you off- so have had to give up.
I can't believe how angry I am, my OH and DSs are all in hiding as I am in a real fury- completely out of proportion to the problem.
I've also got a couple of free codes from Collect Plus- wouldn't even let my worst enemy use them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. My usual approach to yodel when they do something wrong is basically to shout at them and tell them that if it's not delivered by 9am tomorrow then they're absolutely for it, but then that's where being a larger customer comes in useful, quite often you can get your own way, you can but try...0

I can't even get through to them.Phone rings and rings and then after about 10-15 minutes I get 'terminated'.
EDIT: Oooooh, tracking just updated, my parcel is now at Wednesdbury--where on earth is that?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. OOh, that's closer than Sheffield then- maybe tomorrow it might limp down as far as say Milton Keynes, or even, oh joy, Watford.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. argh. I sent sisters family christmas presents (and Christmas pud), by collect+ last Thursday. Never used collect+ before.
Current tracking says
19/12/2011 12:44:22 In local depot, delivery to be scheduled Enroute
20/12/2011 13:00:08 Parcel collected by courier Enroute
They live in a very rural location. Do you think they'll receive it before Christmas ??I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

If it were me that had been screwed by a delivery company and was given a free delivery code as "compensation", I'd be tempted to send a box of bricks to myself as some form of "payback", i.e. "not letting the b'tards get away with it."0
