Jo - you are doing great... if you only got that "£&%&%$& sorted though

I too keep the shakes for breakfast/emergency/snack really as I have massive chocolate cravings and was bad today - outside so got a kitkat. Did not even enjoy the damn thing.....0 -
This is the c25k plan I used last year - http://www.c25k.com . Really enjoyed it, need lots of support 'up front' so to speak, bought a good sports bra, and went out early in the morning so noone/not many people would see me. As with most things it was hell to start with, but got easier as time went on. I bought my trainers from TKmaxx, but it's hit and miss to the stock that's there. They are running trainers very unfashionable, but lots of support for the foot and heel which is what you need. I achieved it eventually and was proud of myself but I'm not a runner/jogger really.
I ended up doing my own music to jog/walk with as some of it is terrible. However, was reading a friend's FB status earlier. She's about 5'10" and varies between about 9 and 10 stone (having been about 12 stone a few years back). She varies between looking skinny and looking ill. Previous posts have included that she lost a stone in her first week of dieting and then another 10 lbs this week - and only 2 more stone to go before the end of February . This week she is complaining that she wants white bread, as she hasn't had that, rice, potatoes, any bread, pasta or anything 'bad'. And everyone is congratulating her!
Many many years ago I used to walk to work which was an hour in total or so a day. Over the course of the summer and without even trying I lost loads of weight. I'm 5'5' and probably went down to a size 10/12. No idea how much I weighed) I looked ill, I was too thin, even though I was eating. When the autumn and more comfort food was on the menu I put a bit of weight back on and looked healthier. Back to size 12/14 where I'm happy to be.
I've now eaten too much comfort food up to a 16 ish so I need to slim down a touch and will be happy when I fit into my size 14's again!0 -

I think my diet is getting back on track now. I did have a curry for dinner, which may sound bad, but wasn't really. The rice was 200 calories, the sauce 100 calories, had about 2 thirds of a chicken breast (no ideas of the calories) and onion, carrots, peppers and mushrooms. I have another 2 portions of curry left to eat lol, one with rice, one without. I actually weighed the rice, as I always use to cook too much. (almost double portions by the looks of it)
I had a good gym session too. Usually on the bike I do about 2 or 2.5km then rest for a bit and carry on to my 3 or 3.5km goal. But yesterday I cycled 4km non stop! So happy with myself. Maybe it was Come Dine With Me that distracted me lol. Then I rested for a bit and cycled at speed 1km, with average rpm of over 100! My legs ached a lot after that bit lol.0 -
HELP
Can someone translate THIS to plain English - the most confusing label I have come across so far....
First it says that 75g when cooked weights 170g
Then next line a servng 75 g when cooked 100g and that 355 cal
What am i missing here?

Left hand side column is how much your portion will cost u if u weigh out 75g of dried product which is their recommended portion size (which when cooked weighs 170g because of the moisture it absorbs same with most rice type products)
Right hand column is the standard 100g of dried product contains.... blah
HTH
Right off to go track my rice pudding from brekkie
