Morning, still no heating but landlady's hubby should be here this morning to fix it *fingers crossed* just as we are going away tomorrow! Thank goodness it's been a bit milder this week.

Today I have a cake to ice, some rice crispie cake "coal" to make and to finish packing, and do my nails this evening and then we are ready to be off! I would also like to hoover the stairs and landing but can't find the brush head for the hoover anywhere. Very odd!

I hope no-one's in a flap and if I don't get back on have a lovely lovely Christmas x

OK, so I've got until midday - after that my time isn't my own...

    Vague list as follows:

    Clear hallway
Sort Christmas food out and put into kitchen cupboards (it's currently in a crate in the hall cupboard)
Clear living room - piles of papers, junk, etc, dust and hoover
    Wrap presents, write cards
    Clean downstairs loo
    Clean kitchen

Post-midday tasks, along with a glass or two of something warming...

Ironing - pile measuring exactly 3 feet tall
Make mince pies, Christmas cupcakes (DD doesn't like Christmas pudding, so has these instead).

Right, better get a wriggle on
    Have a good day
