Evening all. Work finished till 3rd Jan and now I need to chase my tail for a while.
So much to do tomorrow, sign me up for the targets but I really need to lower my standard or I will be cross.
Still have all the presents to wrap, and no kitchen
The bits that are finished are stunning, and it will be lovely when it is done.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

See, if you can do it then I can do it tomorrow. I just need to go to bed early and sleep enough to not be sore and then crack on. :A'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Well I wrapped 13 presents, 25 left to do, oh and DS has asked if I'll wrap the presents that he's bought this year 'cause I'm so good at wrapping!!!!! Yeah right haha.
When I read Bonnie's news earlier this week I crossed my fingers for me next....and I've had a phone call this afti offering me 6 weeks fulltime work starting on Wednesday!!!! I've accepted and have to go down at 10am tomorrow to meet the team. It's with the Adoption and Fostering team which is based in the village in which I live....so even if it snows I'll be ok for the commute. (I have a thing about driving in snow). And as exOH has just pointed out I was praying for a job, but not before Christmas haha, so my criteria have been met!!!! Fingers crossed and prayers now that the 6 weeks morphs into 6 months or longer.

The bloke frm orange was supposed to phone after 1 today!! I know he's working till 10 but I'm not answering the phone now!
Will try and sort it and then complain !!
Not much else done on the list. Must try harder!!!!

Roundtuit well done
Goodintentions so sorry to hear DH is working over Christmas
Done my last food shop (well I couldn't get bread or cream so I'll pick those up tomorow)
Just doing a bit of dinner for DH and I and then I'll do some ironing. Feeling exhausted but in a manic fidgety way.
DS3 has managed to leave the freezer door ajar for a few hours - nothing defrosting but it's iced up good and proper and it's full. I'll have to defrost it PDQ after Christmas. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Both of the kids are now in bed but I've got to put all the clothes away that are on my bed so I can follow them!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Evening all
roundtuit - congrats.
Good intentions - sorry your DH will be away over Christmas.
Glad you had a good time in London, dusty. Hugs and spoons to everyone coping with trialing times.
Plan for the next three days:
make final shopping list
finish tidying and cleaning LR
decorate LR
write and take last cards
[STRIKE]bake 2 cakes[/STRIKE]
bake twinks
bake florentines
buy last presents (quite a few left to do)
buy last stocking fillers
last supermarket shop
last other foodshop (market, butcher, bread, Jack Fulton's)
buy newspaper and do lottery
wrap
clean bathroom (window sill, loo, sink, bath, floor)
change bedding
[STRIKE]set DS1's rew radiator up[/STRIKE]
tidy and clean DR (at least table and area around it)
if time, do more in kitchen and DS2's room
I've been busy, even though it doesn't show on the list. Hairdresser's before tea and I've just delivered the cake to the friend down the road and had a little chat.
The rooms is almost done with just the mantelpiece left. It's not perfect to proper deep clean standard, but it will have to do. DS1 has brought all the Christmas boxes down and I'm just going to check Mr M's opening times before DS2 and I have a go at the tree.0
