, does this mean I can spend the day crocheting? :A
That sounds like a good reward to me!
Just spent nearly an hour ironing the sheets that came out of the TD. I haven't ironed sheets for a long time and never king size ones  those of you that are mad enough to do what I have just done...is there an easy way? They look ok but some bits I may as well not have bothered. Do you iron them in half etc?
Just waiting for the tablecloth to finish in TD then that can be ironed and go back on the table.
BTW thanks for the HH me time yesterday, I used it to straighten my hair and I got a few compliments last night as I don't normally wear my hair down...maybe I should do it more often.
Anyway going to have a cuppa now.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

Morning everyone xx
This new system of DS leaving the lappy outside his bedroom door when he goes to bed is working...it means I get on-line during the day woop woop. DS finally got up at 10 to 6 yesterday... PM!!!!, and was out at a Bangladeshi restaurant in town with friends from Primary School days by 8PM. Tandoori for 'breakfast' hehe.
I need to get dressed and wrap three presents ready for a present drop at 11.30am. I swear I am going to be more organised next year...usually I blame the pressure of work, but as I'm unemployed now....it must just be that I'm slack. Heyho. On a positive note the present drops are being done before Christmas Eve, so hopefully I'll not be rushing around like a blue @rsed fly on Saturday! (whoever saw one of those anyway?)
Hugs to you all. And, believe me, I'm mega-impressed by you organised flyers....and just a tad jealous, beating myself over head at not being one of you. xx.
I loved the quiz Valli.
Mudbath - I've bought my NN a bottle of wine each -seeing as I drank theirs the last time I went round. Hic. Couldn't get the key in the keyhole when I came home and didn't have a clue why....'til the next morning. Ooops.IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -

Morning all - well, just...
Thanks, Jue.
I feel better after my lie-in, so flying and baking can go ahead. DS2 is busy on the Wii and OH has gone for a walk into town - I'm hoping he'll do some jobs when he comes back and DS2 will help, too.
DS1's friend stayed over, so I won't see them for a while yet.
Plan for the next three days:
finish tidying and cleaning LR
decorate LR
write and take last cards
bake 2 cakes
bake twinks
bake florentines
buy last presents (quite a few left to do)
buy last stocking fillers
last supermarket shop
last other foodshop (market, butcher, bread, Jack Fulton's)
buy newspaper and do lottery
wrap
clean bathroom (window sill, loo, sink, bath, floor)
change bedding
set DS1's rew radiator up
tidy and clean DR (at least table and area around it)
if time, do more in kitchen and DS2's room
It's a draft list and not detailed enough, but writing it down has made me feel better. Up and at it, now.0 -

I really ought to put mine and DH's clothes away and get dressed. I've removed the remainder of the ironing back into the conservatory - at least it's just a neat pile now instead of taking over all the furniture in there. I've also sorted some of the floor out in there and moved some stuff in there. I've still got absolutely loads to do.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20
