Morning, glad today is catch up day I really need it! Heating was looked at yesterday and they're hopefully coming to fix it today :j But apparently it isn't an easy job as it's a blockage in a pipe somewhere...they're going to have to go up in my loft! Eek!

    Clear table
    Level three
    Clean cooker and/or hob

    [strike]Have we located stockings?
Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..?
Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card/present to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them!
Get out any special Christmas crockery and placemats - make sure it is all clean and ready for use.
Have you posted everything - last day for First Class mail is Tuesday![/strike]

A slow start is in order today. Not sure if it is from the vacuuming yesterday or bowlig last night but my back is really aching. DH has asked (as he does every day) if I will take it easy, I probably should as I don't want a sore back for Christmas or New Year (we are going skiing for that). If he knew how much I actually do during the day he would be in for a shock, he is so used to the house being tidy and quite clean that he doesn't notice me doing stuff anymore.

    My own list for today:

Get a small gift for my mum and wrap it

    Get food shopping
    HHC in small room
    Back up laptop
Sort handbag and shred any receipts

    Oh...and the lists

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level three
Make sure you have everything bought/ordered/list made for the weekend.
Just need to buy fresh food

Tuesday - Living Room, hall, downstairs loo, any other downstairs rooms you've missed
    Level Two
Last minute check on presents - have you got everything?
    1 left to buy

Wednesday - Upstairs or Downstairs if it's a bungalow or a topsy-turvy house!
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Strip, wash[/STRIKE] and remake all beds
Only ours needs doing and it's on the list for tomorrow

    Thursday - Nearly there!

Catch up on previous days' lists!
[STRIKE]Sort out the plan for Christmas Eve - present drop offs, etc.[/STRIKE] All arranged last night
    Last minute baking

[STRIKE]Check when payments need to be made - set them up in advance if possible.[/STRIKE] Already in my spreadsheet
Flick through the TV guide and highlight anything you want to watch. Looking forward to sorting this one

JulieJim I'm still ironing..... I did the upstairs and downstairs baskets then found some in the utility room. DH came down from hanging his shirts up and told me that there was a basket of ironing in the study..... Sigh

Final push then there will just be the day to day stuff as I wash it.....
  • Good morning :D

I have stacked the DW, fed the dog, loaded the TD, and emptied the TD & folded the washing. I started work at 9 this morning, so I won't be up to much this morning.

Hugs & spoons to those that need them :)

All my ironing done - just the mountain of kids' stuff left now. Going to leave it now though as I'm going to sort out the presents which are hidden in DD's room as she's out with my mum at the moment.
