  • Hi folks,
    Well I finally made the gym this morning:D Couldn't believe how hard it was - its only 5 wks since I last went - just shows how quick your body forgets:rotfl:But on the plus side I seemed to have more energy when I got home.
    So I did a bit of spring cleaning -gutted the lounge even cleaned the windows, bathed the dog -(she rolled in something disgusting), did 3 lots of washing, made a healthy lunch and tea and put the christmas decorations away (which is a first its usually about March LOL)
    Its free listing on Ebay this weekend and as hubby not home I should be able to list loads and hopefully make some money:D and then I'll go and see my little 6 wk old grandson hopefully this will stop me having the munchies.
    The main problem will be the weekend wine - now do I abstain or get a bottle of low cal or just go the whole hog and just drink less of the real stuff. Decisions, decisions decisions:rotfl:

    yay 5 days crisps free!! and i havent binged on chocolate or cake!!

    have been a little bit naughty went on the work xmas dinner last night 2 large glasses of wine dough balls a chicken and black olive pizza and doughballs with a white choc dip for pud :( i also had crumpet for my b/l :( i think i must of had about 1800 cals but i did go iceskating so mabye that takes off one of the glasses of wine!!!!

    today

    i had a matchbox size of cheese with 6 crackers for b/l
    and for tea i had chicken tika plain rice and half a nan with some sagalo (potato,spinice and tomarto yummmyyyy!!)
    so not brilliant

    tomorrow i am aiming for a good 2 lts of water a healthy sandwitch at lunch maybe salmon and cucumber and chicken fajitas for tea.


    what do you think its healther a tomarto soup or a light sandwitch such as tuna no mayo and salard or salmon and cucumber no sauce?

    If you can be good, I'd say buy the proper stuff. Last time when I had 3stone to lose, I 'never' gave up my wine. A glass every evening. I now only drink it at weekends.

    My weigh in is Monday. I havent done very much exercise this week. Work has been far too busy. After today though, everything is on a much even keel so no excuses!
    Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
  • Normally weigh in on Sunday's but I'm at my Dad's overnight so jumped on the scales this morning I'm down 2.4 lbs since I started:D.

    I just hope I don't put it all back on today and tomorrow, my Dad and his wife tend to get in things like fish and chips,;) which is fine for the occasional treat but aso tends to leave a little bump in the road.

    oooooo can i join in, i started dieting on new years day was 15.7 , today I am 15.1 so 6lb off I am chuffed, I know its prob all water but its a a good start, i wanna be 13 stone !! i am doing fitness pal online and trying to stay unbder 1200 calories and not use any of the calories 'earned' by exercise, i am also doing a couch to 5k jogging app on the iphone, i say doing, i started the day before yesterday and you rest a day inbetween so today is my 2nd 'jog' , starts you off with 5 mins walking , followed by 1 min jogging followed by 90seconds walking x 8, i honestly thought i was going to die! god i am an unfit mess !

    forgot to say i normally have wine every night so thats gonna be a killer, had vodka n diet tonic last night n the same tonight, then on the wagon midweek :-(

    Despite being completely bunged up and my throat is hurting like i've eaten glass, I am feeling fairly upbeat today.

    Earlier this week I decided to treat myself in the sales in my catalogue and bought myself some summer clothes two sizes smaller than what I am in now. They arrived yesterday and I couldn't resist trying them on.... they all already fit me!!!

    I can't decide whether I am pleased or not, they are summer clothes, so it could be that they are just a bit more flexible and floaty and thats the reason why, maybe I should just send them back now and order some smaller ones so they can be my aim?

    Anyway, today I had a bit of a lay in, so I've just had a small bowl of sugar puffs for my brekkie, for lunch I am having 6 chicken bites and a wad of salad and for tea a delish home made chilli con carne with rice.

    Today is also one of my girls birthday so I shall have to make a cake for her, which means of course I shall have to have a bit :D

  • Hi everyone, well on my first official post christmas weigh in I'm 72 kilos, which is 1.5 on over the hols :( unsurprising because I ate like a crazy woman. I just started back on my gym routine when I went back to work on Tuesday so all going well there, although the first session nearly killed me and left me limping for a couple of days. I've also managed to stay off the booze totally since back to work and also given chocolate up again. There are a couple of boxes in the cupboard though (special gift that I really can't just bring into work) but I have a sick neighbour I can bring one to today, she will really appreciate it. The good thing though is that they were completely calling to me on Tuesday night when I was tired from back to work and back to the gym and I resisted.

    Anyway I'm hoping that's the worst bit over and any chemical cravings are subsiding.

    I would really like to be somewhere around 70 kilos by the end of the month. This means being very careful over the next two weeks since I'm working abroad for the last week and it's always tricky to lose weight in those situations, the best I can normally hope for is maintenance. At least it's not a country famed for its food though :)

    This is going to be my first booze free weekend for years I think. Wish me luck! And good luck to all of you as well!

    I had a nice long lie this morning - had a chicken mugshot & 2 oranges for by brekkie.
