I am so pleased with my weightloss today :)
I walked my son to and from school for exercise, even in the howling wind, even when i was thinking to myself 'i just want to drive, it'll be so much easier/quicker/warmer'...but i gave myself a good talking to about it, and walked regardless! My younger son couldnt believe we were walking, he was pleased! I hope it wears him out so that help sleeps a bit better too!
I am wondering if i'll be able to stick with it if it rains?..we'll soon see!

I'm getting married in August 2012...would love to lose 20 pounds before then. Would really love some encouragement! I'm gonna cycle to Argos at the weekend to buy some scales!! I am also going to bring all of my left over sweets and chocolate from Christmas into work to share. I have been to the gym 3 times this week so far but I fear that all of my good work is going out the window due to my bad eating habits!

    Today I have eaten:

    Late B: Bowl of Muesli
L: banana, apple, 2 small oranges (wasn't hungry due to late breakfast)
D: quorn bolognese with brown pasta, green sald with coleslaw

Snacks: 1 slice of brown toast with butter, 4 dairymilk chocolates equaling 2/3 of a dairymilk chocolate bar :(

Off to netball now to run off the chocolate that I shouldn't have had!!
    Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
    My savings: £4878.54/£7000
    Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000
    Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)

:rotfl:me too Dolly! I am eating as much protein as i can, as its supposed to be filling, and i think its working. The fact that i have lost weight and not been at all hungry proves it (i think!).
I think i might be a chocolate addict though :D. I have been to the fridge and kitchen cupboards about 5 times this evening in the hopes that a massive bar of chocolate has magically appeared in there...alas, its still chocolate free!
  • i know normally i would have had more but i need to go shopping! :o

Trying to keep carbs to the morning and lay off them in the evening is the only way i lose weight by cutting down carbs, i actually put on weiht on slimmin world lol

wow everyone is doing so well i'm working on a 1433 calorie a day intake, it seems to be working well for me went swimming today for an hr only managed 20 lengths so not great but a start.
ive been amazed using the online journal that hoovering etc can help the calorie burn. im allowing myself 1 take-away a week as i will go nuts if i cant have a chinese - yet to weigh myself but taking prescription grade Xenical (orlistat) as well which is causing some side effects!!!

    Hello all.

okay if i join you? Made a New Years resolution to loose 1 stone this year. Taking me down to 10 stone from 11 stone. I'm 5ft 4 so it would be a good weight for me and one I've stuck at for years in the past before letting weight slowly creep on. Not very good a dieting, tend to want to rebel. So I'm starting off with cutting out sugar and eating smaller portions. Next week when the sweet cravings have lessened I'll get a bit harder on myself! Aiming to loose:
    3lb in January
    4lb in Feb
    4lb in March
    and another 3lb in April....
.....bringing me down to my target weight, if that's successful I may consider another 7lb which would bring me down to the weight I was on my wedding day 15 years ago. I'm going to read back on the thread now and hope it help my motivation.

    thanks
