Thanks everyone! Don't worry about me being too clean - not possible!!

My dd came up to me once munching a bit of toast. We hadn't had toast for about four days. Nice.

My hubbie left the kitchen gate open once, quick as a flash dd was in there. I ran in after her to find her happily munching away on a big handful of cat litter. It obviously tasted yummy as she screamed like anything when i took it away.

Her best moment was the other day when she was up in bed. She was being very quiet which is unlike her. When i went in i found her completely trouserless and nappyless. What was she doing? Drawing pictures with poo.

    Oh dear!

My youngest was sitting at the kitchen table with the cats dish the other day munching on their food! She also once ate her sisters poo out of the potty!!!! She was playing in my SIL's cat litter tray on Saturday.. I swear she'd make a fabulous guttersnipe!! My oldest used to suck snails and slugs and once we caught him sucking the dogs nose!!!! Poo paintings are a must!!! At playgroup a couple of weeks ago they had made chocolate playdough.. shorty loved it she was telling everyone it was poo and she ended up eating that too!! Mud is part of their staple diet I think.. needless to say they are all wormed every 6 months like dogs!!

Oh no, not TMI.. more like I REALLY don't need to have it done 3 times.. it took me 8 years to go for the last one!! Then it was only when my younger sister had to go for a biopsy after a dodgy smear I went.

I hope OH is recovering well.. what has he done to himself?? (I don't care, I just want to laugh at his expense! ;) )

my OH?? did i say he'd done something?!

he did make me almost wet myself laughing last week when he texted while out running to say he'd had to stop as he'd run over a branch and a massive thorn had gone through his trainer sole and he couldn't run on it or get it out! poor lad had to wait half an hour freezing cold and sweaty for his dad to pick him up:rotfl:

    I like that one :D

That's as good as when my DH dislocated his knee doing the hoovering. It was just a nuisance that he had to be carted off to hospital in an ambulance on Christmas Eve!

Moggins just gone back to Flylady website (first time in ages) cos I thought she gave a "day off" in the week which you don't seem to mention and notice that what's listed in your to do lists for a week she seems to do over a month - is this me or am I reading it wrong?? I know this sort of thing is personal choice anyway and I'm not making any comments either way - but I just wondered if I am interpreting it correctly and yours is weekly and Flylady is monthly why it's like this - being an owner of a newly decluttered house inexperienced in the ways of regular housework!!! :o:o
You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an
"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs :p :rotfl:

woo hoo, I've refused to go into daughters (13) room for over a year now a situation we are both more than happy with, so I have either
    • the day off to lounge in front of telly in my sparkling sitting room (yesterdays fly)
    • can spend longer in the gym (don't even feel like leaving the house)
    • do Monday's kitchen which I missed completely
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
