Todays saga.. My Tesco order arrived.. only.. half of it had been left at the store!! So.. I had to wait for it all to arrive again!!! And it is flipping freezing out there!! The guy at customer services refunded my delivery charge though, I don't mind their mistakes so much.. especially when I benefit from it!

Either way it is now all safely tucked away in its various homes and you'd never guess we had had a delivery.. normally there are bits floating round for days and days!!

I now have YUMMIES for when the monsters are in bed!

Stargate and mint ice cream.. what more can a girl wish for?? (apart from a man like TNG who knows what the appliances are for! .. even for a few days!)

Back later to check on tomorrows torture regime!

We actually know someone whose son was jumping on their bed, fell off and broke his neck and died!! he was only 5!! It is dangerous, your mum is right! That is awful, i never thought about it - she never fell off but jumped funny on bumpy quilt - i hate it when my mum is right - they do only normally do it when i am in room BUT will stop that now - a friend of a friend's 2 year old died when they fell off kitchen worktop - i actually don't do this but makes you think

pink glad all ok now :T you can sleep now except all the cleaning to do - agree with pigpen re germs though you can be too clean!!

well off to do paperwork while watching football
  • pigpen have been thinking i don't think you can have gorgeous children like that and be that much of a freak!!! not sure why thinking about this - well yes stops me doing my paperwork - which i am even less motivated to do then cleaning but supposed to be doing dfw the flylady way!!
  • Just thought I'd catch up on what you've all been doing today before I get the hoover out.

pigpen you have been busy today :)

antonsmummy you'll soon have your house shipshape, this is my second week of following this thread and already the house is lots better, and this week isn't taking anywhere near as long to do moggins list as the place is generally tidy.

Right time for a date with a hoover !!

Hi everyone, two incredibly busy days when I have hardly been in the house, so all flying postponed to Friday. Or maybe even Saturday!;)

Have shipped DS1 off to my mum's, to do work shadowing at my brother's for three days. House not noticeably tidier for his absence. I think the other two just spread their belongings further around in the extra space...

I am shattered, and almost hoping that we do get heavy snow so the school is closed and I can have a day off! Even though I had my first full day of observation today, and really enjoyed it, and have been given a class to teach after half term.

Pink_butterfly - so happy to hear little one better. I've just read an article about deydration, and it apparently often happens in new borns while they are learning to feed, but it didn't mention older babies. You can always ring The National Childbirth Trust for support and information. I've got the number somewhere, and can look it up for you, or you could look at the website.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • NCT are great - i used their breastfeeding counsellors in early days with dd1 - i am off to bed now will look in morning to see what it is

antonsmummy remember if you don't get everything done it comes around again next week and does get easier each week and quicker - unless like me you havea lazy week and it is a pickle again but is picking up again - babysteps - just do what you can each day

Serena well done on observation and getting own class

Pink butterfly - glad DS is back home.

Pigpen - glad to see you still here (and with munchies!!!)

Well, i finally got under the kitchen table and cleaned it!!! Actually, i had a flash of inspiration and decided to paint the radiators in the hall and kitchen, and got paint on the floor in the kitchen, so i had no option apart from cleaning it!!!! So, lovely white radiators, and lovely clean kitchen floor!!!
I have also hoovered and emptied the DW of the dinner dishes - just waiting for the WM to finish, so i can hang that up on the maiden, and i also want to make the packed lunches, but thats it.
Think i will go and do the packs now, before i get too comfy!!!
Have a good evening everyone xxxxxxx
