I'm slagging off today a bit I'm afraid.

Been really busy at work, spent my entire 4 hour shift sorthing through paper work and banging data into excell. Result?: My shoulders are totally sore and locked up and there's nobody around to give me a massage.. :-(

Anyway.. so I've done dusting in the living room. Had a general tidy up and a good hoover. (even moved the toy boxes instead of going around them!) I did however not move the couch.. couldn't face that with barely able to lift arms.. snifff

it already looks a lot better though.

Gave the loo a quick wipe, and that's about it I'm afraid.

I'll cook the dinner tonight and tidy up the kitchen afterwards, but I think that's going to be the end of my flying today.

    Better luck tomorrow!

Astonsmummy the list of things to do is on page 1. Tomorrows list will be posted tonight.

Try a few 27 fling boogies first which will help you clear some of the clutter. Stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and throw away 27 items that are either rubbish or you know darn well you are never going to use again.
sorry for sounding thick, so does that meaan i follow the list then?

Don't worry about sounding thick! :rotfl:
It is the idea to follow the list that Moggins gives us each day + an certain amount of daily things that you think you should do.

Mine include cleaning the toilet (with 7 people in the house and 1 loo it needs it) a tidy up of the kitchen, doing the dishes and making sure my sink is clean, and a quick tidy up before I go to bed.

Just jump in and do the things on Moggin's list for the day. All rooms will be coming around soon so no catching up to do. You'll soon get the hang of it and us, dont'worry!

    :D

    Good for you!!

Don't worry, you won't believe the difference. I've only been flying for just over 2 weeks now and it's made a world of difference. I am also the kind of person that will be lazy anytime I can possibly get away with it!
But I got so tired of having a messy house!
(and 5 kids will make a messy house believe me!)
I got so fed up with panicking when I had to let somebody in while I wasn't expecting them. I got tired of having to shove crap off of the couch before being able to sit down. I got sick of having to look for EVERYTHING I needed.

My house is a long way from perfect, but it's getting there! And I'm SO enthousiastic now! I find myself almost willing visitors out the door because I can't wait to do my chores! (my kids and husband were seriously worried about me the first few days..) It is becoming addicting to be honest.

I can't stand it now if there's washing up left in the kitchen, and I won't go to bed before the living room is tidy, and my sink is shiny!
You'll see that it takes less time to do the list as the days go by. Honestly!

    Good luck!

Well not flying today. DD1 has got another ear infection, but is feeling really grotty with this one. Managed to set off for doctors surgery at 8am for the 8.30 opening so got to see Doctor first thing. That means she has already had 2 lots of antibiotics so hopefully will be on the mend soon.

This means I am on beck and call duty! So its just the dailies today I am afraid.

    Lounge dusted/polished
    Hoovered all downstairs
    Kitchen swished & swiped
    BM on
Only 1/2 load for wash so that can wait
Tidied cupboard in larder (well 2 draws)

    TO DO

Post conservatory warrenty card (only 2 years late)
    Post phone to Envirophone
Fill in fixtures & Fittings list from Solicitor

Thats all I can thing off for now - DD2 want me to go and be a cat.

I am so cold today, the heating is on but my bones feel like ice. Major problem as I cannot stop scoffing - just had 3 slices of HM bread with jam and butter!! Had left over pasta bolognaise for lunch too.

It is half term here next week so no 2 hour trips back and forth to preschool (YEAH!!!) so am hoping to keep on top of jobs and maybe tackle one problem area per day (got a couple of draws that look messy. Plus it will mean more time to do stuff with the kids.

I have a big box full of my girls baby clothes that I kept because DD1 had a doll they would fit but to be honest she never plays with them. I am thinking it may be time to donate them to charity but I WILL HAVE TO keep a few of my fav things

2 of them spoke to me today.. I had to look behind me to see if they were talking to someone else or if they were in fact talking to me.. AND THEY WERE!!!!!! I've never been so shocked in my life.. and they were thick as poo.. but they spoke to me.. they probably won't ever talk to me again.. but it was bearable while it lasted!
