Wow Pennywise, you have been busy in the kitchen. Everything sounds delicious :D. We are having steak pie, using some left meat that has been frozen in gravy. The kids absolutely love it and always ask for more of it!!

Wow your cooking session sounds impressive - must do one myself at the weekend xx
  • Hi ladies, thankyou feels good having a few meals organised for the week.

Not alot to update really, work this morning and then the dentist the afternoon, dentist cost me £25 , have withdrawn £3 from mysurv£y so will add that to challenge total when it hits paypal.

Meter readings done for the week elec £13.22 and gas £12.99 :(, roll on spring.

Some ebay parcels have been posted but don't class these as a spend as postage is paid for.

Have a couple of ebay parcels to post tomorrow, paid for this morning and couldn't be bothered with parceling them up first thin, so will do tonight.
  • Hi Penny,
as always your cooking sounds fab.
A staggering ebay profit today of 54p, so didn't squander anything on chocolate at the post office :D but honestly how pathetic is that. Still i'm sad enough to go and adjust my sig again and put 54p into my box.

Middle child at the optician today, he is now apparently short sighted and glasses are ordered, have to pay £12 i think, so will have a look online now about that. The optician said the NHS pay £36? Anyone have any experience of children and glasses to share?

  • Morning, can't believe i've not updated since monday and now its Friday already.

Have had a busy week at work getting back into the swing of things but its been a good week and have that nice feeling of enjoying what i do.

Home and kids have been hectic, children being ferried to lots of activities etc, have also been trying to keep on top of the housework and have to say its pretty tidy, so at least that means i don't need to spend all weekend cleaning:D, have some ironing to do tonight when i get home and a quick dust of the living room and a hoover through. also decluttered a binbag of tat from DD bedroom yesterday.

On the money front, nipped to T£sco on Wed and spent £17:mad:, only needed batteries for my wii fit board, still have money in bank account so thats good.

Have recieved a £10 amazon voucher from surveys so need to update challenge amount, ebay items ending this weekend but only have 1 bid and no watchers so looks like i won't be making a fortune:(.

Made a meal plan for next week, just need to go through cupboards and make a shopping list to take to l!dl tomorrow.

OH is really tired at the minute, he is working extra weekends to help with spends for holiday, bless him.

    Have a good day PWPS.

    Morning Pennywise,

Well done on keeping the house tidy through the week :T. I do find it makes a difference doing a little bit each day.

How long is it until you go away? x

  • HI MTG Still got 3 months until we go away, which sounds alot but i'm sure will fly by.

£3 recieved from mysurv£y and 2 more items listed on ebay.

Kids had hot school dinners so have just given them poached eggs on toast for tea, does that make me a bad mum not giving them a proper meal?

Off to have a hot bath and get into PJ's.
  • Hi Guys

I'm still doing the challenge but have not been doing much money making this week.

I have subscribed to the main £2012 in 2012 on Up Your Income and a lady posted about breaking it down to a daily amount which as we have 366 days this year is £5.50 per day - sounds more achievable!

People on there are using Zapper and WeBuyBooks so as I have about 3000 from when I sold on Amazon I guess that the next few weeks will be taken up with checking all the books
  • Well i got up late this morning and it was cold and i couldn't be faffed going shopping, so have juggled about with menu plan and we should be ok until Monday when i will go to lidl after work.

Spent £18 today on a riding lesson for DD.

Been to visit in laws and came back with a dozen eggs from the lovely chucks, so will get on with some baking tomorrow.

ebay is annoying the h£ll out of me, stupid questions from buyers, i've had a bid withdrawn and a person bought a Buy it now item on Wednesday and still has not paid .

Off to drink tea and catch up with diary's.
  • Good morning.

Freezing here today, think i may just hibernate for the day and send OH out with woofets:p.

Have had £2.53 paid out from quidc*, items ending on ebay today, but will not be making a fortune, need to hunt out a couple more items to stick on as well.

Have managed to declutter 2 items from DD bedroom into bin, decluttered last box of christmas choccies last night and half a bottle of wine:D, will probably declutter rest of wine tonight and then apart from a bottle of Baileys which i hate all christmas alcohol has been drunk and i'm refusing to buy any until after we have been on hols, 2 boxes of christmas biscuits still to declutter but these will not last long:o.

Today all meals have been thrown together from stores, porridge for brekkie, soup and rolls for lunch and HM bacon and leek quiche, jkts and beans at teatime, will bake a cake as well this afternoon.

Have promised kids we will play monopoly today if they get there homework done.

    Have a good day.
