    Hi Pennywise

I'm resisting the urge to pop in to the supermarket as well, the guinea pig food may cost more from the pet shop but you won't be tempted by Mr S.

The wind howled round our house last night, I slept through it all until 5am when the rain woke me up.

    Have a good day xx
  • Oh i don't know about avoiding the supermarkets, we went to Pets at Home for a lead today and spent £17.48 on a lead and an unplanned collar, ID tag and tennis balls:o

Good news is £3 from MySurvey:j, slowly slowly slowly!

  • HI guys thanks for popping in.

    V quick update.

Cheques still not paid into bank:o:(.

Popped into pet shop and bought small bag of GP food for £2.

Took both children for haircuts after school £15 spent.

Went to see my sister, who had been making soup and HM bread, so she used DS and DD as taste tester (she doesn't really cook), so they have been fed:D and said it was good.

Have checked ebay and have a couple of small bids, surveys are still slow :(.

    3 items decluttered to bin.
  • Can't believe its Friday already, this week has flown by.

Recieved a £10 Tesco gift card in the post today, so will add that onto the challenge total.

Decluttered 4 items into the bin this morning and found another item to ebay, will list tomorrow though as its a free listing weekend, have a few bids on ebay, but doesn't look like i'm going to make major money, i would probably say around £5:(.

Can't seem to get warm at all today, got wet this morning on the way to work and have been cold all day, think i will have a bath a put pj's on before settling down to watch last episode of public enemies tonight.

ita also been a NSD today:D.

  • Morning mtg, had a bath and glass of wine and warmed up nicely.

Got up early this morning and have been to l!dl, spent £33.46 in lidl, bought loads of fruit and veg and some extra items that were not on the klist,2 packs mince beef as it was on offer and some other bits for kids lunch boxes, beef will be used in next weeks meal plan and bits for packed lunches were store cupboard items so will last a couple of weeks, so hopefully have a knock on effect on next weeks shopping and should only need fruit and veg. Also nipped into Tesco to get a couple of bits not available in l!dl and spent £7.90, came in under £50 for total shop which i'm pleased about especially as some stuff was for the following week.

Going to go and blitz DS bedroom shortly it looks like a bomb has gone off, i'm sure some of the stuff could be decluttered to the bin.

    Have a good weekend.x.
  • Morning Penny,
Well done on the small food spend, Dh has spent a lot more sadly:(.

Couple of ebay sales have been paid for and posted today, so that was £12.50 profit (presents from Mother:mad:), so will update sig. Think i will keep this money in a seperate box so that i don't just let it fall through my fingers without thinking. May have to use it but then at least i can specifically realise that, hope that makes sense:D

Have spent a bit on the online sales, wish we were able to save for this or had the spare cash to buy the sizes up for future years but hey ho, cash is king so we don't!

Right off to work out what needs washing as a priority, children go back to school on Tuesday and then only 5 weeks till half term :j:j

  • Hi PWD, dog is doing ok thankyou, stitches are healing nicely. Well done on making £12.50, whoops to OH overspend.

So today has mainly been spent cooking, took out of the freezer lots of bits of meat that have been lurking in there, some of whinch wasn't labelled so had no idea what it was until it had defrosted this morning:o, so iv'e made a pheasant and duck terrine, beef in ale gravy will turn this into a pie, sausage casserole and thicken thighs stuffed with sausage meat and wrapped in bacon, chicken is for tonights tea, sausage casserole for tomorrows, terrine wil be sliced into portions when cooled and then can be refrozen and OH will take it in his lunchbox, will finish making pie tomorrow and that will be tuesdays tea.

Had some things finish on ebay and have made £15.78, also managed to list 4 items these were highish priced items, kept back the 99p stuff as won't have time to do anymore today and they can be listed for free anytime.

Better go and peel spuds for mash and feed us.
