  • Well items have ended on ebay, only 1 item sold and the grand total of £2.19 made, totally pants.
  • Same here Penny, two things ended on ebay with watchers but no bids:(, however in the spirit of desperation! I've listed some more things and as DD had a party to go to this afternoon we were going through her wardrobe, which turned into a mega clear out of her wardrobe and chest of drawers.
I'm now staggering under the weight of mini boden that she's outgrown and with two little brothers it can all go on ebay:j, so more hopeful of that. Sadly she'll need replacements, not a decent pair of non-school tights to her name:o

School have issued rag bags for return by 10th Feb, so i'll list everything that is outgrown and if it sells  and if not school funds can get the benefit, so a nice incentive to get on with it!

Anyway only 4 weeks till mid-term:j xx

  • Hi PWD, maybe its the time of year with ebay, peeps have no money after christmas, but i would have thought boden stuff would sell well, i have a rule when selling i only list 3 times and then it goes off to charity.

So its Monday again, this week isn't quite a hectic as last week (hopefully), Half day at work today, than i'm taking DS to the dentist, also need to go to post office with yesterdays ebay item, put petrol in the car and buy fruit and nothing else.

I have 2 items ending today on ebay that both have bids on, again only making a couple of quid but its better than a kick in the teeth and declutters 2 more items.

Hope everyone has a good day. PWPS.x.
  • Afternooooooon.

Person that bought the BIN item on ebay last week has paid up so another £9.99 to throw at challenge total.

Have spent £20 on petrol and another £11.59 in Tesco all on healthy fruit and veg.

Have had HM soup and fruit for lunch.

Meter readings have been done and have used £16.20 in gas and £11.99 in electric.

Going to go and hang some washing to dry and then put another load on, dishwasher needs emptying and there is a pile of ironing to do, cup of tea first though i think.
  • Ds got the all clear at the dentist, so treated us all to a cream cake from the bakery, £5.40 spent.

Ebay item finished and have made £4.69.

Kiddies are just having tea, trying to use up the odds and ends out of freezer, so they have had fish cakes, oven chips and frozen mixed veg, not very exciting but its a meal and they have eaten it without any fuss, found a portion of curry for OH, just need to do some rice to go with it, think i'm on a cheese toastie or scrambled egg not sure yet as i'm not hungry.
  • Evening and its sooo cold.

Had a low spend day £2.56 on potatoes and extra milk, seem to be going through loads of milk think its all the hot choccies we are drinking.

Still decluttering house slowly, charity bag came throught the door today so will have a couple of bits to put into that, have also listed another item on ebay.

Work is hectic but good, OH is also really busy at the minute with work, cold weather makes him really sleepy as well, bless him.

Nothing new moneywise bank account looks ok, not brilliant but ok.

Better go put the cottage pie in the oven.

    Hi Pennywise,

Nice to hear things are ticking along nicely. We are going through so much milk too, cant even blame the hot choc as I forgot to buy it!! I bought 4 pints on Sunday and we still had a bit left. We used the last of the 2 pints this morning . Just bought another 8 pints but will defo need more by Friday/Saturday. I wish the supermarkets will still doing the offers on milk!

Poor OH being tired, he must be freezing in this weather. The farmers wife should be making him a nice stew or something for his lunch to warm him up :)!!

  • Hi mtg, milks a nightmare i get everyday from the milkman as well, had to buy more from the shop today.

I've been sending OH with meals he can warm up, stews and HM soup, he has an office on the farm that has a microwave and kettle, so at least he doesn't have to take sarnies.

Good morning, can't believe i've not posted last couple of days.

Work is busy, couple of people have been off sick so that has stretched things a bit and extra work thrown my way.

Homelife is good at the minute and seem to be keeping on top of things generally, hubby is still very tired but he is off this weekend so at least he will get a couple of lie-ins.

Spent £40 yesterday on fees for brownies and football, easy come, easy go.

Shopping list for next week has been written and a meal plan made for the week, been trying to cut back this month and run the freezers down, sorted out the chest freezer yesterday and found a whole chicken and a joint of pork that i hadn't relised was there:o:D, so they will do us a few meals. Need to chuck a load of veggies in the slow cooker to make a soup for weekend lunches and make some bread, all the tins of biscuits and choccies we got for xmas have now been eaten so need to bake this weekend.

    RANT ALERT
And ebay is carp and i'm sick to death of people that think its funny to bid on things and not pay, if your reading and have done so SHAME ON YOU.

    HAve a good day.

    Hi Pennywise

We need a cow in the back garden with the amount of milk that we can get through, DS won't drink/eat the milk in his cereal bowl and the other day he'd wasted at least half a pint, I was not happy to say the least!

I'm trying to use up food in our freezers up as well, we've had some unusual combinations this week.

Ebay can be frustrating, I had 1 seller before christmas who didn't pay, they lived down the road from me and I even offered to hand deliver the items to them to save them paying postage (they lived opposite the post office) no response, I just don't understand people sometimes. Needless to say I left them some very negative feedback.

    Have a good weekend xx
