  • Morning,
Things slow here too, payday next Thursday thank goodness!
£6.36 from Quidco so have updated sig for that. One poll at £39.15 so getting close, hopefully next week.

Sorry about ebay Penny, i've got a few things on just now and they end tomorrow and the odd bids that are there are pityful. Need to get the mini boden stuff on this weekend, need to get more mailing bags too.

DH finally starting to meal plan and guess what... he's seeing how much less stressful it is with a plan and a matching shopping list:j

Right off for a cup of tea and a browse of the MFW:D a debtor can dream!!

  • Morning guys, thanks for popping in.

    Another rant alert:mad:
Feeling very fed up this morning, had a blazing row with OH last night, it was just stupid really, it started simple because he is tired and i'm tired, he went out early evening to see his mum and when he got back in i was on the wii fit, said i would do his tea in a bit when i'd finished he got huffy, i exploded about never getting any time to do anything for myself and have to drop whatever i'm doing to run around after everyone else in the house and that i'm not doing it anymore and why he can't give half an hour for me to do some exercise, called him a selfish bleep etc etc, it just got stupid and i ended up sleeping in DS room (he was on a sleepover last night), got up this morning to find he was up and sat lounging on the sofa whilst i ran round cleaning the kitchen and hanging washing to dry, he has now gone fishing, whilst i spend the day food shopping, cleaning and sorting kids out with homework etc, i know he works hard, but so do i and i feel as though he is taking the !!!!!!.

    Ok rant over:o.

On a brighter note £4 recieved from p!necone.

Off to get dressed and go shopping.
  • Oh Pennywise, what a shame about you and DH having an argument, our arguments always start off small, silly things then escalate. Hope your both speaking again soon.

Go on strike, he would soon appreciate that you need some time for yourself like he is now with his fishing xx

Sorry to hear about your fall out with DH, he might come to his senses when he's sat thinking about it all day. I know where you're coming from though I've had the same argument many times with my DH about his Sunday morning golf!
  • HI guys and thankyou.

Hopefully he is sittting and thinking.

Shopping went ok, bought lots of fresh fruit and veg in L!dl and stuck to my list £27 spent, popped into Mr T as there was a couple of bits i couldn't get in L!dl was good again and spent £8.02, and also spent £4.30 in pet shop on saw dust and dog chews, so not bad really.

Off to eat tomato soup and garlic bread for lunch yum yum, and then make choc brownies.
  • Tesco doing a £5 off next weeks shop if you spend £40 today (may be tomorrow too) and your shop next week totals £40 or more!
For some reason DH got two vouchers today with his £58 shop!

Hope you and DH are okay Penny xx

  • Morning.
    Thanks for popping by BR.

Things are a lot better, he came back from fishing early, very sorry and we talked thngs through and sorted things out, he was very good yesterday made breakfast and a rst dinner at teatime and took the kids out mid morning to the supermarket to give me some time to do wii fit, see how we go on.

Yesterday was a NSD for me other half bought couple of bits i needed from supermarket:D, made £7.49 on ebay and relisted a couple of things, but its so slow at the minute i'm really not motivated.

Work today but should be ok, keeping my head down and working hard.
  • Good morning at work, then needed to go to the next town as they have shut the halifax in the town i work:mad:, thought i would be really good and healthy and parked at a retail park on the outskirts as it free and its about a 15/20min walk each way, got to halifax fine, started to walk back and the heavens properly opened, 15 mins of walking /running in a downpour i was soaked through, got back to the car and had to dump my coat and cardi in the boot, luckily OH had left a fleece top in the boot so i stuck that on to drive home in, water was pouring down my face and had to dry my hair on my scarf when i got in the car.
Was suppose to go to the library and post office but i was so wet i had to come home, have a shower and get changed, will pick children up from school and we can nip to library then.

Have had a big bowl of HM soup for lunch with a crumpet, chilli with tacos for tea.

Meter reading have been done -
    elec - £14.46
    gas - £9.75
Pleased we are back to being under the £25 mark a week.
  • Hi Penny,
Glad DH is behaving - long may it last!

Same here with ebay, £12.82 up at the moment with one more person to pay but more unsold than sold and surprised as there were good brands there:(

You are doing well with the challenge though and hopefully the ebay sales will pick up once people have got January out of their systems!

Right off to listen to DD reading, flaming Burns Night (week!) is upon us, combined with Chinese New Year it's all go:D
