  • Thanks ebayqueen.

Been a spendy morning, dropped DD at horse riding and left her there for the morning so £25 spent, hubby has just gone to pick her up but doubt she will want to come home even though its freezing.
After dropping DD off went to L!dl and spent £38.40, bought loads of fruit and veg, only thing i didn't get was cat food as the moggie will only eat whiskas, she has enough for a few days so will buy it next week.

Also spent £10 on a DS game for DD birthday from ebay but as the money was already in paypal from surveys not really counting as a spend.

Still feling pants and have no energy to do anything, must dig out some stuff to list on ebay tomorrow, have relisted 3 things today.

Right off to eat tomato soup for lunch, not that i can taste it.

  • MOrning ebayqueen, i'm still feeling rubbish and i've had to cancel an appointment i had today, colds now in my sinusis and have a headache, just feel totally drained.

Need to go and collect a parcel from sorting office today, think its an item that i ordered for DD birthday.
  • Managed to post before i'd finished waffling:o.

Need to also nip to Tesc* for a birthday cake for DD, i know i should make one but i feel rubbish, we are having a bit of a family getogether tonight and then she is having a a meal out with her friends on her actual birthday which i wil make a cake for, have a £10 Tesc* giftcard i can use.

Have done meter readings this morning and gas usage has gone up thanks to the artic weather:mad:-

    Gas - £15.17
    Electric £13.13.

Didn't get any items listed on ebay, just the items that i relisted, will try and list some things during the week at 99p.

On the money front not really much to update, will keep up with surveys this week, missed a few last week as i didn't have the energy to sit at the computer, have money in bank account but trying to spend as little as possible.

Note to self MUST TRY HARDER.
  • Went to Tesc* and was very good and spent £9.50 on a birthday cake and valentines card for OH, also checked kitchen drawers before going out as i was going to buy birthday candles, but found some,so 89p saved i know its not much but every penny counts.

Hope you shake off the bug PWPS..and don't worry we all have times when we feel carp.

We had a mixed day today.. Sold car ( in end we had2 buyers but kind hearted OH agreed to get it MOT'd for them!!!! So fingers crossed!).. Clearly I would have been much less kind hearted!! Then we had a gas leak...but a lovely heating engineer who was working at a neighbours came over and sorted it out..for free...Result and so very very kind...but then we have just noticed that the newly serviced boiler doesn't seem to be working. We have no hot water... :-(

Morale of the story..it's all about ups and downs!! You just have to keep on trucking!!! :-)

    Take care

    Thanks jwil.

Brizzle, Good news about the car, hope it goes through its MOT ok, gas leak is a bit scary:eek: good that you managed to get it done for free, very mse :money:, have you checked that the pilot light hasn't gone out on the boiler ours has done that in the past when the water pressure has dropped and was easy to relight.

Feeling brighter today, but still really tired, had a nice evening with family and DD recieved some gifts but she is not allowed to open them until tomorow which is her actual birthday, but we did have her favourite tea carbonara and garlic bread and birthday cake, so she was happy, tomorrow we are off to the local farm shop as it has a pottery shop as well where you can have a go a making pots and painting plates, DD has asked to do this so we are going there and then in the evening meeting up with her friends at P!zza hut, i have also agreed that on Friday as she is at Pony club she can take a cake as she has loads of friends there and there was only so many she could have at her party so we just stuck to her school friends, so i have 2 cakes to make, so the little lady will of had a total of 3 birthday cakes this week, i'm sure the queen doesn't have that many:rotfl:.

Not alot to update on the money front, ebay has no bids or watchers, bank account is the same as yesterday, have recieved another £3 from mysuv£y and DH also recieved £1.50 in clubcard vouchers so i have snaffled them so will update challenge total.

Have fed children crumpets this morning for brekkie as there was a packet that needed eating, lunch will be HM soup and we are have Jkts salad and kievs for tea.

Hope you all have a good day.
  • Just popped on for a quick update as its DD birthday and we are off out shortly, she was very pleased with all her presents, we are going to the pottery place soon Dh is paying for that and then i'm paying for P!zza hut tonight, so its going to be a very spendy day.

Nothing new on the money front except my bank account is going to look serious hammered by tomorrow, thnk i will have a look at how much i have in paypal and withdraw it over just to be safe.

Off to make an early lunch of bacon butties.
  • Happy Birthday to your DD Pennywise, hope you all enjoy a lovely day out xx
